Hi all,

I am producing the Vulture Mk II kit now that the Victors have all shipped. This kit is in the same scale as the Armorcast kits and goes well with the kits produced but myself and Agent Cooper.

[Redacted]

Check it out and let me know if you want one. Limited to a run of 30 kits.

looks great!

I won't be able to partake of this one, partly because I am living on my savings in Mexico now, but also I need to save what little extra income I have for when Cooper gets my Urbie on the roll.

*Shrugs* I dunno. He had just asked me for orthos of my Deputy Dawg Urbie. http://bishopsteiner...art/1-370371751 Dunno when or how far down the pipe it is as a project (the stuff he and the Teacher do is breathtaking, but time consuming as heck, too!).

That said, I don't think it can be distributed, by Coop & the Teach would know far more about this than I.

Oh, I'm interested, but am semi-retired now, and living off my savings in the tropics. I simply can't AFFORD to buy one. Wish I could. The Victor he made was fantastic! (though if he or Cooper wanna make one off the new version, I might have to dig into my pockets...... especially my special modified Victor.

i'm theoretically interested in your vulture, but i have several questions..

how tall is it, assembled? (or, if it would fit in a 11Wx11Lx19H cm display case)
what material is it? (in terms of: how solid is it? is it a "foamy" material or more like resin or plastic?)
which carrier will you use?
is the model already painted/assembled? (because I enjoy assembling and painting on my own)
how well will the parts be protected in the package? (my experience is, that the travel "overseas" to europe is quite rough for mail B) )

thanks for your great work

Oh not to worry, that Urbie will be built. But Im stil so focused on getting the Atlas done Ive really only done the groin section of your Urbie.

I'm seriously tempted to offer a vulture MkII in exchange of a Deputy Dawg if it becomes a reality

ain't no worries or rush bro! I know you had other stuff in the pipeline too (haven't seen an Atlas update in a bit though, how is it looking?).

Heck I don't even have a proper place to get stuff mailed to yet here in mexico, so no worries at all.

Iacov
The finished model will be in solid off white resin, unassembled but in the parts you see pictured. The reason the parts pictured above are partially painted is because thats the prototype Maddog toy that was going to be produced from the MW4 line, but they were cancelled.
Our buddy theTeacher got ahold of the incomplete toy and rebuilt the arms and now this will be a limited run kit. Stands about 8 inches tall i believe.

Bishop
the reason no updates lately is because of 2 things. First my camera broke. damn sony.
and second, really pretty much everything is done except the head. But im working on both.

sorry to hijack the thread Tim.

thank you, Agent Cooper :)

the exact height is very important for me to know - because the highest display case i can find is about 8inch tall and has a 4.6x4.6 inch base :(
if it fits in this display case (minus 2 or 3 milimeters for basing) i'm most likely to preorder :D

and do you think can the model be magnetized? (like many do it with their e.g. warhammer figures)

Iacov- This kit stands slightly shorter than the Armorcast kit...if that helps. You can adjust the legs to make it more squat. The arms and torso could have magnets added, but they would not work on the legs. The pressure cast resin pieces would be a bit too heavy. As for shipping, I always use USPS just because of price considerations. I regularly ship kits to Belgium, Germany, Greece and the UK and have not had issues. The pieces are sturdy and are well packed.

I hope this helps...

thank you very much, TheTeacher :)

so the height is roughly 8inch, like Agent Cooper said, right?
but how much space do i need for the footprint(is that the correct word? width x length)

and will the vulture go into production as soon as you have XY pre-orders, or are they being produced anyways to a total of 30?

and the parts would even be too heavy for neodymium magnets? (i thought about magnetizing the arms, chinturret,hip-body- and hip-leg-joint)

thank you very much!

Roughly, that is the height. As for the footprint, that is something I have never measured.

The Vulture has gone into production already and I am currently almost $1000 out of pocket on this one.

I cannot answer that magnet question. The joints where the legs attach to the hips and the knee joints are very small so they had to be designed to be glued. You would be hard pressed to get anything but a very small magnet installed without making major modifications. The chin turret is molded as one piece with the center torso, so again modifications would have to be made.
