That Story really is supposed to be attached to Bishop Steiner, {GFH}, and his Victor, "the Duelist".

You made the claim that a Dragon can protect its CT by facing the enemy. I made the counterclaim that doing so would result in death by coring. Evidence:
Funniest part is that you can see from the pictures that the amount of CT area, when twisted to the side, proves us both wrong, and yet - here you are STILL trying to be right?
- First you claim torso twisting on Dragons can't be done compared to the QD.
- I disupte this by saying twist can if you point the CT at the enemy.
- You then post images saying that twisting like this is not an option.
- Said images prove us both wrong.
- You ALSO try to claim you didn't say both true false sides of the coin were true when the fact is, if you'd understood what I posted you'd see what I mean.

I'll admit the picture makes the CT look relatively small compared to what I've described it as, but if you look closely it's still oriented high enough that you would have to twist far enough to expose your rear armor in order to fully protect it. The arms are mounted too low for that.
PS: Why are you being so personal and ad-hominem in your replies?

Free Worlds League is not ruled by 1 man. It is both a strength and a weakness, many see it as more of a weakness than a strength, as it does cause internal conflicts from time to time, but unlike you my Liaoish friend, we in the FWL actually have freedoms, and, now this is a hard one to grasp I know, we have rights, and are *gasp* equal, with no caste system! Amazing!

Then rather than claim torso twist can't save, maybe next time say the CT is so big that torso twist helps very little?

That's a fair question. Answer: my ex-wife pulled this type of stunt a lot, claim something in one way, and if it wasn't contested she'd assume she won, if it was contested she'd claim I misunderstood and then change her story to the exact opposite, not to be right because obviously true / false cannot both be true, but that didn't matter, all that mattered to her was her perverse idea of winning.
So, my apologies, but I've seen this three-card-monte with the truth played before: I know it's BS, and I call things like I see them. Nothing against you, really, I don't care if *I* am right or wrong, so long as logic prevails and the truth is arrived at thats all that matters.

Alrighty then, I'll concede that the whole "twisting is useless" thing was a bit of a hyperbole (sort of like saying Flamers or other weapons are "useless" when they do have a use but it is very small and negligible).

I've hacked into PGI's e-mails and found the text for the Orion coming this summer.
Johnathan McLaine walked over broken glass in his Orion class heavy mech. The Steiner terrorists had taken control of the mech skyskraper, but he wasn't about to give up so easy.
"Al, are you there?" he yelled into the radio
"I'm just getting some twinkies," came the reply from the small Urban mech in police colours.
"I thought you guys only ate donuts," quipped McLaine
"They're for my wife," said Al Powell.
"Right."
"She's pregna-"
Suddenly the Steiner terrorists emerged from on top of the mech skyscraper, hosing the small Urbanmech with machine gun fire.
The radio hissed with static, and the voice of Commander Hanz Grübern spoke, with a german accent
"Do you really think you have a chance against us, Mr. Cowboy?"
In the distance, Al was reversing his Urbanmech into a ditch, taking cover from the rain of bullets.
"I'm going to count to three. There will not be a four. Give me the code," demanded Hanz.
McLaine powered up the weapon systems on his Orion battlemech and lit his cigarette.

I will thank you though for those images though, seems to me my experience fighting with and against DRGs has perhaps given me some false ideas. Those are something to think on, might be able to improve how I play with my Flame with those in mind. Finding out I was in error about the area shown by pointing at the enemy is one bit of info I can point to as a "good to know" sort of thing.
