nope i use a spider and nothing has changed for me in fact i had a match today with 3 kills and 800+ damage.

Always love when great poptarts did that on a level field in the middle of a straight on fight. Severely damaged many of them when they were being slow predictable hunks of metal floating in the air.

Obviously in those situations you drop back and start sniping from mid range.

it was because before your aim was much more stable when jump jetting than running on the ground in most places. i know i used jump jets a few times before to make some extremely hard shots much more feasible.

Also, using jumpjets without "needing" to is a good defensive tactic. A short burst here and there in a brawl can kick up dust to obscure vision or it can force your opponent to hit your legs instead of CT or shoulder.

And I can't keep myself from pointing this out, but I think Soy means "milieu" where he says "meta." I'm not picking on you, Soy. I've seen/heard several people do this recently and I'm starting to develop a facial tick over it. There, I satisfied my need to be a word {acronym for a member of the National Socialist German Worker's Party} and I'm not sorry.

Spider is hurt far less than the Jenner, since it only has one arm with weapons (excluding the K, because it sucks regardless). The Jenner, having two arms, can suffer more (randomly), as one arm offsets up and to the right, and the other down and to the left, leading to a huge gap that makes it impossible to hit with both arm groups at anything past 150m.

And match stats don't actually mean much, as they're dependent of the skill level of your teammates and your enemies moreso than personal skill. I don't pretend that getting 600-700 damage and several kills means I'm great; I was just better than the specific enemies I faced, and my teammates who managed to be out done by a Spider.

Only a couple people actually trolled and that was mostly tongue in cheek.

I don't think I've had anyone attack me either personally or in an attempt to undermine my position of credibility ala the video, but I have had a fair share of constructive criticism, which is really quite helpful to be honest and I appreciate that sort of thing.

I'm actually quite satisfied with the discussion so far and the amount of responses has reinforced my notion of trying to interact on deeper levels with this community beyond shooting at them in game or yelling on forums about stuff.

Probably I have some prejudictes - because everytime there is a simmilar "Post your" stuff, it always come around becoming what your intent to share and watch have currently became.

That's about it.
I'm not saying that you're wrong, because after all you're the one that should have any demands from the posting crowd, it's just that I'm from the ones misguided by "Post Your Film" begining, ended here dissapointed from the fact, that there is only one video and 76 comments you know?

I would've really enjoyed more if I could actually see how few more people are displaying how the pro-poptarting should be done.

probly more then half the time in this clip your not even fireing from the air.not to mention i didnt see you fireing from cover you were always on the move and when you were jumping it wasnt very high.

I find myself jumpsniping in my highlander about 75% as often... I fight on the ground more and don't resort to holing up somewhere on the map. I'd say it's a pretty subtle effect, but it is close to where I want it. Ideally, there would be some minor shake/inaccuracy on the way down.

What type of moron moderator moved this thread in here when I already have a thread in here for this, the actual topic was about Jump Jets and the video was the reference for establishing credibility on the subject matter, which is in fact a legitimate matter at the moment for a large portion of the forum community being discussed.

Ahh **** it, useless mods are useless. Leave up the 9000 daily threads about QQing and accusing PGI of being scammers and how **** players need everything nerfed though, those are really ******* constructive.
