You're doing it wrong. Compared with the Jagger, or Blackjack the QD feels near invincible. I use it as a fast flanker and brawl on occasion and the thing spreads damage across all panels evenly in most fights. It's amazing.
Yeah I was nieve once upon a time too but I didn't insult people. Yes it's fast but the leg hit boxes are huge. Yes if people shoot it in the upper body you can do fairly well. I have had 500 plus damage several games with one as well and tend to average 300 or so points but most of the time now I get legged to death. It takes just two good alphas to leg a Quickdraw with full leg armor and they are almost impossible to miss. I didn't say it couldn't be effective - only that the leg hit boxes are too big. Yes you can survive if you sneak around and dive in when no body is looking but you rarely do any good for your team doing that and if the team is poor that will only get you so far.

Leg hit boxes on the thing must be massive, I would shoot at the CT and hit the legs nearly every time.
Yep agreed. No reason to try to shoot anything else on it.

The mech can mount over 400 Armor so I am not sure how anyone can feel that it has poor armor unless you build it that way. I mean you could say an Altas has poor armor if you only gave each section 10 armor in your build.
Pro Tip: Go to mechlab and click the armor button then add armor. Works like a charm to increase your survivability.
Umm thats barely more than a medium mech can mount. FYI I run full leg armor because you have to. Pro Tip: Don't be rude to people who know better cause it makes you look like an ###.
