In your case, you seem to have at least one of them, do you think 3,804 posts entitles you to something Adridos? Maybe a say in how Liao conducts itself? No? Good.

You and I are not going to stop them from doing what they want to do, that is until we are on the battlefield in mechs. I urge you to be on team speak with your peeps if you choose to engage a lance of goons. They will be on teamspeak and will beat you 4 vs 1 if they get the chance.

Goons are joining Laio because we IDENTIFY with Liao.

Both of us are misunderstood groups who have been reduced to villanious charicature by those OTHER guys who hate us and skew everything to portray us in the most negative light. Meanwhile, anyone who takes a closer look at either Something Awful/Goons or House Liao/CapCon will discover a diverse and interesting culture who is far from the cackling, mustache twirling monster everyone depicts us as.


Have we done wrong? Of course, but our detractors seize upon these isolated incidents and prop them up as everyday example. They beat their wardrums and drive up anti-Goon/Liao sentiment.

Wow, this is hilarious. I have played EVE for 6 years and while haven't been in a Goon fleet, I have fought against them. I have been on both sides of the fight in Providence. I have robbed another player's ship, smashed a few pos, ran in guns and ammo into combat regions, swarmed in noob/tech 1 ships, broke into intel channels to get fleet information for battles, and even let my child run a gate camp that ended up killing one of the people I fly with in game all the time. In EVE, I am not much better then Goon. I just run in a smaller group and tend to stay in the Amarr regions and 0.0 space near those areas. In WoT, I am a public player as my clan doesn't have enough people for the clan wars. In most other games, my group tends to keep to small squad fps so here I will be solo. And I am a merc. So expect me to try to pull a lot of the same tricks that Goon will try to the extent that I can. As I am not someone who normally takes Liao contracts just means I am shooting at them again. Aim for cockpits and legs. They can't fight if they are down.

As for PL, on a serious note, i do expect them to both come to MWO and be some serious (and fun) competition. There will be no evading "good fights" on MWO.

Yeah, the Goons are deffo something to worry about. In good and in bad ways. Goons tend to make your game more funny. Goons tend to be and organized enemy. But they are awful at smacktalk. And they are awful in....oh well actually Goons are awful overall, lol.
