So when's the announcement for a pre-order for balanced gameplay, gelded high alpha boats, better matchmaking, maps that don't have invisible terrain to waste heat build-up and ammunition on, a highly detailed CW description, and a return to the MWO days where victory was determined by group tactics and role-defined strategies?

Because I'll put $80 on that right now instead of those shiny reseens.

I really cant complain about new content. I love it. 4 new mechs pretty much all at once is awesome.

What I am really waiting to see are things like a fix for convergence/heat, a real game lobby, good training missions for new players, and in game voice chat.

Those are features/fixes that will really keep this game going. New mechs are fine, but currently they are only going to be worthwhile if you can slap multiple PPCs and Gauss rifles on them.

You forgot to add, "no 3PV or Coolant flush's to that list.

I didn't want to seem unreasonable with my demands, I thought I could get those in when it came to negotiations.

Feedback:

1. Pricing is better, but make an option to buy any one specific chassis or choose them, as the founders did. You'll have much happier customers and more buyers.

2. Without SOMETHING to whet our whistles in regards to Community Warfare, in regards to BETTER and more lore-friendly GAME MODES some of us are, well, more than hesitant to throw down more money. We want Multiplayer MW:2 missions, we have deathmatch with base and deathmatch with bases...

You think they've been furiously prototyping and have run out of capital before implementation? It is either that or a dirty cash grab. Both options are bad and with the track record of pgi I lean towards the first.

This question is more towards the Devs But is their going to be a way to show both our founders AND our Pheonix status? Otherwise you've kind of made it where you pick one or the other and thats just Lame. I would not Mind it if instead of Red for the Overloard package you made it yellow to note that I'm a Legendary Overlord thingamablobber.

This promotion seems generally above board, in my opinion the only thing sketchy is that if you don't buy the phoenix package you well have to wait 1 month longer for the shadow hawk, 2 months longer for the thunderbolt and a not insignificant 3 months for the battlemaster The decision to release the heavy metal before the highlander was by two weeks, PGI cannot possibly expect 3 months to not be considered a step too far.

That also implies that if you give PGI $80 for the Overlord package you are consigning yourself to 4 months until a new mech is available to you. The founders mechs were all released and available for everyone at launch (well, closed beta "launch"), regardless of whether you had bought founders and it didn't mean the legendary founders had to wait 4 months for their next mech either.


Given the extra capital flow this promotion will produce PGI should use at least some of that to ensure that the 4 project phoenix mechs are released in addition to our regular 1 mech per month schedule, if they want to show the community any respect over this offer then they can't make people that paid $80 wait 4 months for everyone else to catch up on mech releases.
