I agree with the above completely
There is a thing that worries me slightly though: Founder< Phoenix < ?
Shouldn't it be the other way around, that the loyal founders should have a slight bonus on Phoenix instead

On one hand it's awesome to see PGI go the extra mile and work on the reseen, not to mention the opportunity to buy another round of 'premium' mechs for the people who missed out on founders. It's also nice to recieve a sliver of information about the CW system, although indirectly. These packages also seem way more bang-for-your-buck than the founders in pure game assets.
On the other hand however, why do I need to spend $60-80 just because I chose heavy and assault mechs from the moment I bought my Atlas founders package? There is no good reason PGI can't allow people to chose their mechs like with the founders package. Unless of course they want to admit their role warfare pillar isn't working like they'd want...
I'll hold off my purchase untill at least the Battlemaster has been revealed and maybe PGI supplies us with some feedback.
Because you're also buying nearly 3 months of exclusivity with the battlemaster when you get the overlord.
The Locust is released the Oct 15, the day the sale goes into effect. Each tier above that gives you more "early access" to the mechs coming in the next 3 months afterwards.

I doubt they will release it. It's not a startup anymore, like it was with Founder packages, and their decision to hide number of players online because is valuable business information speaks for itself.

Most of my time spent in MWO is dinking about in the trial mode anyways, if I ever do log in any more. To both my great shame and admiration... I've already dropped money on this, still clinging to that hope the game will be fun.

Now that we see they are willing to do more "founders pack" sales, I think it's pretty safe to say we'll see a clan founders at some point. They are basically printing money here.
....and I'm pretty alright with that right now.

Game fixes are completely different from new content. The game needs both. If you don't understand that it's two different things, well, helping you understand how businesses work, how money works and how time works is outside the scope of a forum post.
