Each package comes with predetermined Mechs. If you want the Battlemaster you have to purchase the $80 package. But it's still a great deal! Here is a link to the details, it shows you which Mechs are included in each package. http://mwomercs.com/phoenix
I was referring to the other Macross unseen designs like the Warhammer, Rifleman, Marauder, etc. I already bought Project Phoenix already.

Hell even now, if you snap the arms off a rifleman it could almost pass for a MWO Blackjack.
The bigger problem lies in not what we could get away with, but what we (We being PGI/IGN) are willing to financially fight for, even though HG wouldn't have a soap box to stand on if alex did his own take on the Unseens but HG would still try, likely costing time and funding to swat that annoying parasite.
A good example is the original MWO trailer with the Warhammer, to put all that work into creating it for the trailer then make zero mention of it (to the point we dont even see concept art) means HG popped their heads out of the trashcan, worse yet the big fishes adamantly deny anything occured which means they are still worried about legal repercussions so avoid anything that could be construed as slander.
-------------------------
To reiterate, in the games current condition its not practical to beat down that dog yet, but should MWO rise enough to have the backing other "well off" f2p games then it might become financially prudent to rub HG into the ground, for that to happen however the money they would make off the reseens would need to trump the legal cost to make use of them.
Come to think of it, Project Phoenix could be construed as a testbed for such a scenario, food for thought.

It's a bit disingenuous to state that they "denied anything occurred" when it's even on MWO's wikipedia page:

It's more likely that they don't want to talk about it so as not to incur any more wrath from HG's rabid commando-trained attack lawyers of DOOM! (which seems to be HG's core competence these days - oh how I wish that company would burn...).
Either way, until HG dies the fiery death they so rightfully deserve, we're unlikely in the extreme to see any of the Unseen Macross designs.

Rather beyond whats been added to said wiki we know very little if anything, with the exception that HG didnt directly interact with PGI(at least thats what was said by one of the devs, but hell if I can find the actual reference to that statement), instead poking at IGN so its likely IGN may need to grow a spine on this one.

Harmony Gold is taking on Hasbro. You know the company that makes everything cool?
I have been eagerly following this. The last time HG did anything other than show up at a Con was in 2006 and even that I wouldn't call worthwhile. This year they put out Love Live Alive which is recycled trash as far as I am concerned. Then there is Shadow Rising which is listed as "Planned" but "Delayed" and has been for a while now.
If you read up on HG, in terms of their products, they are essentially squatting on an IP. They simply don't have the money to do anything with it. Now if you read up on their litigious side you will see they sue anyone and anything they can in an attempt to raise enough venture capital to do something with their IP.
Oh and that "Robotech Film" that we've all heard so much about? Been the talk around the Water Cooler since 2008. But wait, this very year "Leonardo DiCaprio has show interest in the upcoming big screen version of Robotech". There simply isnt enough vomit in my system to show my thoughts on that particular nugget.

They may as well put Disney (I think they had some Warhammer looking thing on something) on their radar and really lose.

There was never any issue with having a Marauder in any game. The issue with Harmony Gold lay entirely in the usage of art that they claim rights to.
Use new art and there is no issue with Harmony Gold. However, many of the "ReSeen" 'mechs in the Table Top game's "Technical Readout: Project Phoenix" (2003) never gained full acceptance from the community because 1) it wasn't the original art, and how dare anyone change the looks of our most sacred 'mechs, and 2) the art was actually pretty bad.
I mean they took the original Marauder art:
and turned it into this:
But I have confidence that MWO's art team can create new designs that don't infringe on the claimed artwork. I mean FD even managed to make this "ReSeen" Marauder look not so horrible:
So maybe it's not the design so much as the artist bringing it to life.

Yes, this person is complaining. But oh look! No founders tag. And even if he/she had one, it represents the opinion of one person.
Not all the founders.
Don't like the decisions they are making? Don't buy their stuff. Simple.
I actually have a 120 Founders on another name. I just don't post with it anymore. As for "not buying", that's exactly what I'm doing with Phoenix. Too bad I didn't know in advance for the first time though. Assuming you did want one; this one is much cheaper but with lot more Mechs. So ya, they ripped us off.
