My favorite Assault Mech is already in the game, the Highlander. Not sure if I want all 4 or if I stick to 3 of them but the 10% Loyalty for the Phoenix version is nice. Also, I like the Orion over the Thunderbolt though it's a nice mech still. Sigh, decisions, decisions.

Also "nice" to see that THOSE Mechs actually have MORE (and better) benefits than the founders Mechs too. (<- that was irony)
Looking forward for the next official "tourney" (Phoenix-Tourney anyone?!?), which turns the players into even MORE brainless zombies!
Just out of curiosity: how many PPCs can we stick into the Battlemaster? If it's more than 6 I'd be down. o_O (<- now kids, thats sarcasm)

Definitely going for this because it finally gives me some hope of eventually seeing (although probably funding) the Rifleman, Marauder, and Warhammer.
Happy days (just not for my credit card!)

So gonna buy this. The "Phoenix" might suck with his hardpoints but I'm pretty sure that the 2 standard versions will be more laser heavy. For 5€ that's still a steal.
Not sure if the other packages are worth it (twice the cash for a mech which you'll be able to buy with C-Bills ('xcept the phoenix mech bonus), a medalion that's identical with the 500MC item and minimalistic +2.5 Rep bonus and the same time of free premium time).

On one hand it's awesome to see PGI go the extra mile and work on the reseen, not to mention the opportunity to buy another round of 'premium' mechs for the people who missed out on founders. It's also nice to recieve a sliver of information about the CW system, although indirectly. These packages also seem way more bang-for-your-buck than the founders in pure game assets.
On the other hand however, why do I need to spend $60-80 just because I chose heavy and assault mechs from the moment I bought my Atlas founders package? There is no good reason PGI can't allow people to chose their mechs like with the founders package. Unless of course they want to admit their role warfare pillar isn't working like they'd want...
I'll hold off my purchase untill at least the Battlemaster has been revealed and maybe PGI supplies us with some feedback.

I completely agree. I will wait it out and see if there are any improvements in July that would encourage me to spend more money on this game. Sadly, the current trajectory does not look terribly favorable. This is unfortunate, because I would want to spend my money on this game, if it looked [to me] like they were on a sustainable path. There have been too many factors that make my support for this game waver. The laundry list is not uncommon, from what I have gathered while lurking the forums.
