Maybe if the devs actually played the game on a regular basis this issue would not be developing. Then again it is probably a good thing they dont, or else everything would be nerfed into oblivion to satisfy their ego when they lose.
News flash, the rewind system is garbage and needs more protections to stop freeze frame targeting. A little thought paints the picture of what to do, no I have not done it, I dont need to. I want to like this game, I really do. But PGI is making it damn hard with stupid decisions and a lack of information.

Honestly, beyond making pretty posters and graphics for free I don't have any type of influence on PGI or even NGNG as a whole for that matter. I would have made the same post whether I have an NGNG signature or not. I enjoy playing the game (even if it is work in progress), I enjoy making content for the MWO community, I enjoy interacting with the members of the MWO community and will continue to do so until any of these things cease to provide enjoyment.
Unfortunately that is about as far as my scope of influence reaches.
Well dang. Then get on the other NGNG guys to get on PGI!
And um . . . may I have a pretty poster? I like pretty posters

The PPC are ear splitting loud and I love it.
LRM also gets a nice Vroooom sound when they are close.

off the 3 matches i just played. I saw a few PPC boated stalkers being very very carful. even saw one shutdown and blow up.
New movement changes seem great. definitely saw assault mechs more bound to curtain routes. while lights, medium definitely seemed to have a wider range / speed of movement.
going to play more! later tonight. great job so far.
P.S
my frame rate took a 10 fps hit. so that. but i'll live.

Can I return my Atlas RS in exchange for the Champion one?
Am I whining? Yes.
Is it justified? I think so.
If this were a physical store with physical product, I'd be able to take my Atlas RS in the store and exchange my inferior product for the new one they just replaced it with
WOW i feel for you dude. That is way below the belt. PGI arnt money grabers any one ?

Read this and my first reaction was "Amen to that Brother" because I've been all "they broken my toy....it's not fun any more"
Now I've had a chance to think about it I'm more "not sure I like it.....yet" but that's only because I haven't shifted to the new paradigm. I'm sure I'll get used to it.
As for the new sound effects - the first time a mech fired a couple of PPC's next to my ear it was like "holy c**p what was that??" Best thing since sliced bread (well the Jagermech anyway)

- Added environmental sounds to the levels.
Hell yeah. Been waiting to hear that blizzard on Frozen City and all the other enviro audio. I like me some immersion.

ambient sounds are good though.
As a pilot that runs pretty hot across 23 different mechs I'm not feeling the heat mechanics at all so far after about 8-10 games all different mechs and I'm alpha striking as much as I would before the patch.
The movement mechanics seem ok, seen some funny moments on canyon map.
Seems a bit 'off' with the whole repeatedly delaying of Sarahs Mech after it was given release dates, especially when other stuff is being pushed so hard at customers (pheonix deal, new hero mechs etc) It seems disrespectful.

Guessing PGI just announces the things in the patch notes they care to talk about - and leaves the rest to be discovered? Makes me wonder what else they are doing.

Or maybe internal communication is as poor as community communication.

ROFL ac2 is bigger then a BJ gauss now and a AC10 is BIGGER than a ac20. Also now UAC5 looks like a machinegun, so fired.
EDIT with pics!
AC10 on the mechs right arm, AC20 on the Left arm.
Gauss Rifle on the right arm, UAC5 on the Left. (I used to love the way the UAC5 looked, now im sadpanda)

Those feeling upset over no 12v12, Ui 2.0, etc.
I STRONGLY suggest you listen to the podcasts with Nogutsnogalaxy that are here on mwomercs.com
The devs talk about what they want to do, how they will do it and WHEN approximately we can anticipate.
12v12, Ui 2.0 aren't being released until maybe late August.
SRMs and Seismic were also talked about in number 78 (IIRC) and will be address.
These guys are doing a great job.
They have several departments which do DIFFERENT things and you should respect that.
As said in Podcast 79, "This thing has to be done before this thing can be done and this thing can be released when this thing is done." Saying.. other fixes and/or updates will be applied when other things are working and/or completed.
You can't put a house together with a roof fully assemlbed without foundation.
