How it works:

Rate your opinion of PGI's performance. Today everyone will vote 5. After that we will change our votes based on PGI's performance. 1 is worst, and 10 is best. Use any basis you wish; this is a general index and not specific to any one facet. For example I'm concerned about weapon balance and community interaction, so that's how I would rate PGI.

How to participate:
Vote for 5 in the poll on your first day, regardless of your current feelings towards PGI. The point is to get an idea of how your opinions are changing, not your starting opinion. Repeat: Everyone votes 5 to start. Any day after that feel free to delete your vote and vote again. Try to change your vote gradually, unless something really drastic happens.

When you change your vote, leave a note saying why. Hopefully PGI will be able to use this as a tool as a positive feedback mechanism. Please refrain from trolling, flaming or using this as a hate platform. Just briefly state your reason for voting what you did.

What NOT to do
Do not vote 1 because you hate the world or are angry at PPC users or have diarrhea. Just vote 5 to start, then every time PGI makes you happy or sad change your vote gradually and accordingly.

5 is good, both for a start and probably where I'd leave it.

They did some good, some bad - and with tweaking it can work well.

Tweaking I say, not a two week patch, maybe a hotfix for some basic numbers soon...

Based on the statement about weapons balance from Paul I'm inclined to bump up to a 6, but I'm going to wait a day like I told myself to.

Can please add a "0" for those of us that have no faith in PGI and the process they are using to create this game.

The minimum scale is completely arbitrary. Can you do me a favor and think of 1 as your 0? However, can you still vote 5, since the poll reflects your feelings relative today, whatever those feelings may be?

I voted 1, but the option for 0 should still be there. 1 implies that I have some faith, even the smallest amount. :)

I like this idea. It's almost like a massive sensor reading how everyone "feels" about PGI at any given moment. that's kinda cool

I don't even know how to edit the poll anymore. Man I'm so discouraged from posting. I don't understand why this was jettisoned. Feel really bummed.
