its a bit tall for an 80 tonner.

somewhere between the 95ton highlander and the 100ton atlas. if you check the spotlight where they walk in the same path. Of course the victor could be closer to the camera on a hill when crossing. But that is still a bit close in size for comfort.

but atleast they are not going across weight classes this time

It's not. It's also quite thin for an assault.

Ok, so looking a little bigger than the Cataphract, but also looking like the center torso is a bigger proportion of the whole torso than I thought. That explains why XLs have been going so well for so many people at first brush.

Its a big mech, what is ridiculous is the size of the Quickdraw.

Yep. I think everyone sees how oversized it is... I mean, I triplechecked if I hadn't accidentaly upscaled the thing during the process since that height left me simply speechless.

What really stands out in that picture, is how short the Awesome's legs are. The Victor has a much higher waist despite only being slightly taller.
The Victor does seem to have a very flared torso, much thinner at the waist than the shoulder.

i think a tiny bit overscaled like the victor is acceptable. but the quickdraw is clearly messed up

Is anyone able to snap pics of it behind/in front of an Awesome?

I always think of mechs using the Awesome as a unit of measure. A Cataphract is around 0.7 fatties for example.

It's purely anecdotal, but the Victor appears to be quite wide, yet svelte as far as bodyfat goes (i've only encountered them on enemy teams so far, so it's hard to ogle them when you'retrying to poke holes in them).

It seems to me like a Victor could comfortably use an Awesome as a meatshield, without fearing that any protruding appendages will be blown off... can anyone dispute this?

Edit: reading fail:

Awesome, thanks mate.

DOUBLE EDIT: Laughably crappy Awesome/Victor mspaint comparison:

Q. Can the Victor cower behind an Awesome?

Posted Image

A. Yes! But... NOT THE FACE.

Torsos:

Interesting.

Tehehe, always cracks me up seeing a Quickdraw the size of an Assault or a Centurion and Trebuchet towering over a Stalker. And The Awesome, I see C-Bills all the time with that double-wide easy-hit monstrosity.

have ya looked at the shoulders? Wasp waist is nice and all, but it's the top that's gonna be a bullet magnet.
