This is a TEMPORARY fix to quell the damage done by missiles at this time.
The real question: Has he been on vacation since March 21st?

Little and poor data is the same as no data, to people who know that data is little and poor.
To PGI, who obviously doesn't understand they are getting poor data, it's worse than no data. Those people will draw conclusions based on the bad data, make modifications to the game, and then go "why didn't all the high-alpha meta stop?"

We got a bunch of stats, but a whole lot of PGI not understanding what they actually mean.

Actually most(99%) cases prove that too little and poor data is actually more counterproductive than no data at all.
If data is bad and in small amounts, whoever is analyzing it will come to the wrong conclusion. If there is no data at all planning will be done in order to compensate for every possibility.

I fear the next balance patch.
I fear it will brake the game even more.
I fear it will add useless, complitated and pointless mechanics.
I fear that the wrong stuff gets a buff.
I fear that the wrong stuff gets a nerf
I fear the the WRONG stuff will be left untouched.
I fear the next changes from Paul.

Remember, you aren't "catering to a niche audience" by getting the niche audience opinion. You're catering to everyone, because that niche will understand the game better than you, the casual players, or anyone else really. And thus their suggestions will benefit everyone, even the people who don't really understand the ramifications of why something is working better.. they will know that it is.
I keep suggesting it. I hope it gets considered. And PLEASE be selective about which units you are taking advice from.. there are a few that have large numbers of players that are effectively completely terrible and on the level of low ELO PUGs. Check the user league standings, drop an email to a couple of the user-created leagues that have kept MW:O afloat while we await CW.. I'm sure they can point you towards some good places to start.
I'd throw the Blazing Aces in the ring too, but I both don't want to come off as self-serving and assume some people would like to strangle me at this point. heh

In case this point is lost on anyone, balancing the game is good for all players, noobs and ninjas alike.

I would love if the Aces would do the balance in a team for PGI for free!

In Russia they have a saying that is basically "womans logic".
Here in MWO we have "PGI logic".
btw, LPL is of course completely and uttely broken - any imbecile can see that.

Weird, why did I post %2 instead of:
Hey, we asked him to work on them, you can't blame him for trying.
I expected PGI to take less time for it, but it didn't. We should use this precedent for our further estimations, though. A Scrum principle: "Yesterday's weather".
How long will Project Phoenix be available again?
