[Sleeping Bear]

I like the lighter 'mechs so I'm split between the Light PPC or the Light Gauss Rifle. Either one of those weapons on a fast, light machine would be like a heaping serving of bodacious with awesome sauce poured all over it.

If I was gonna rock something heavy though, nothing beats that HAG 40. Nothing spells awesome like a 666.66kg nickel-ferrous slug slapping a 'mech upside the head. With TT damage transfer, you could shoot a light 'mech in the arm and it'd core it.

It it comes down to just one, then it's got to be the er-ppc. Lots of good choices for weapons not in the timeline yet.

TSM would be sexy. I'm trying to imagine it in the MWO gameplay. Would love a hot mech running with a sword. Heavy Gauss [drool], love a weapon with the umph to knock me down on my back. iNarc and Semi-Guided Rockets... wonder what rage quiting it would 'cause ;p

My Introductory BT box set has the Cicada sporting a snub nose PPC. Says it's a 3050 updated variant (CDA-3MA). Maybe snub nosed PPCs won't be too far off?

Edit: Never mind. I see snub nosed PPCs are 3067.

I would have to say that it comes down to two weapons for the mech's I like to run. The clan LRM-20 or the ER Medium laser (IS or Clan). The damage to weight ratios and the heat effiency are superb. The LRM-20 allows mine-field clearing to boot.

God, I love Plasma when coupled with inferno missles... it just isn't that practical a weapon loadout though unless you find yourself against a few lboats.
