Wow, the rendering looks like it is already going along pretty good. I like the quality of the arm of the timberwolf you do in the second video, just looking at your design so far makes me hope that someday I'll get my timberwolf for MWO. Do you do any kind of work for MWO?, i think they should model the timberwolf to look sort of like yours.

lol, no I don't do any work for MWO, i'm just a freelancer. I wouldn't want to work for PGI or any company that needed models because I'm not a professional and I put way too many polys in what I do

Still pretty amazing. Can't wait to see the finished model.

I obviously used Sneaky B's concept timberwolf. Credit to him for the 2D image for inspiration!!!

Not really sure, I was planning on exporting to blender and then texturing with some free textures. As I don't know how to do this yet, it would be a good learning experience
I'm getting done with school this week, so I'll be finishing the model up, adding detail, and should be posting an update this weekend (Just the update this weekend). If you'd like to join in some way, let me know!

Join... i don't really think i'm as talented as you at this. If anything I just like to marvel at how good it looks. And yeah, it is a good learning experience. One thing you could do is in blender export it as an .obj file, open it with pepakura, and then you can turn it into a 3-D paper model.

You might want to redo the arms, since you have a more angled body you might want some thinker and angled arms.
But that's what I think I'm not a fan of the toothpick arms of the timberwolf.
Yeah, I know what you mean on the 'toothpick' arms. My arms are actually 1.2x their original size, so they're a little beefier than the 2D image in back. I was considering adding some hydraulics or armor plates to the exterior of the arms, but I really need to finish the torso and legs first to get an overall image of the mech and then go from there.

I'm quite a fan of the timberwolf MKVII concept art. I like the arms, squat torso, and the overall profile of the mech, especially the missile racks. I feel though that it's a little too similar to some MW4 designs, namely the vulture. I really want to maintain some of the cannon visage but at the same time make it more angular and modern. Sort of B52 meets B2 Spirit
