I wish they'd do this...but the code to do this is something they've made obvious that they don't want to touch. ...still double A for effort.

4-legged mechs would be awesome.

Excuse me, but the Stalking Spider is a fantastic mech.

I would love to see quads and even though only the Scorpion and Goliath could get in right now they are viable Phoenix 'Mechs. I would hate to be the guy who has to rewrite the movement code and control mapping for quads. Hit box and leg loss are also different mechanics. Be great verity, but coding hell. I do hope they can put in quads eventually, it would be a happy day.

I would be happy with just the Scorpion since it would look pretty cool in MWO's art style (not saying the Goliath would look bad though) and it would be an entirely new style of play. I understand PGI wanting to stick to bipedal 'mechs for the time being since there are so many, but quad mechs are definitely something I would pay for if they offered them in a similar to Project Phoenix.

Man, what a unique gameplay they would provide, too! No torso twisting, limited torso up and down motion, but more of an FPS style movement with side strafing and diagonal movement. It almost seems self balancing, especially given they had limited hardpoints.

yeah but they really need the crouch feature added to mechs. A scorpion should be able to defilade.
