Every time I'm in that stupid map the textures frak up. It does not matter how many times I run the repair tool it does not fix it. I've tried newest vid drivers, old vid drivers, beta vid drivers... it just doesn't work.

The bug begun when the ability to turn off shadows was removed from the setup options many patches ago.

Fix please?

MSI Radeon 7770 1gb
AMD quad core phenom2
16gb ram
win8pro64bit

This is the only map I see this problem in the terrain. Alpine peaks randomly has this problem with the small buildings textures (not terrain).

Have you tried turning on v-sync in the game settings?

I had that issue for months. Then someone recommended turning on v-sync and I haven't had it since.

Well there is something, and probably the only thing, I haven't tried. If it's that simple, I think I'll punch myself in the throat.

It is as simple as turning on vsync. Had that issue my self ages ago, turned that on and havent had an issue since. Also helps take load off your gpu and cpu, at it caps the frame rate at 60fps. any higher then that and you cant tell the difference anyways.

Thankfully, I don't have to punch myself in the throat. Turning V-sync on didn't fix it.

Nor does deleting the shaders folder or running the repair tool from patcher or whatever.

I've just come to the conclusion that the Silverhawk's Technicians are all complete rubes and I'm lucky my cockpit ejection doesn't go off when I try to switch to thermal.

Thank god, cause that would have made me feel like an *****. V-sync is old, outdated, and not needed for most new LCD displays.

So still no solution? It isn't too much of a problem but I am still not sure if it's my computer or something. :)

I've had the same thing for the past 6 months. I kind of ignore it really.

- I can't be bothered finding the shader folder and deleting it.
- I don't want to run the repair tool in case it wipes out my config and I go back to PPC's appearing from space in Alpine. I don't know if they ever fixed that view-distance bug.

You do bug reports in the patch feedback thread and emails found in the link above are far more productive than random threads, right?

I ran the patch fixxer thing and I have had that bug significantly less frequently. Its the cog button when you first launch the client.
