Limited arm movement? One of the iconic factors of the King Crab and the Crab is that they can fire 90 degrees left and 90 degrees right with the arms alone without having to torso twist (superior arm movement). The King Crab fits the AC/20s by splitting the crit slots away from the torso into the arms, allowing for the lower arm actuators necessary to do this.

Lordred used a regular Crab on me in Megamek where I saw it perform for the first time. You know that crap that gets pulled with two handguns in John Woo movies? I was seeing that with PPCs. Running between two mechs, stop, and fire to each side.

Of course, I used an Atlas K in Megamek and headshot an enemy Mercury with 2 MPL fired from my Atlas's back, knocking the pilot out so I could deal with the Marauder.

Unfortunately Bishop's concept art would not allow that as neither art allows for a full 90 degree rotation of the arm to fire perpendicular to where the unit is facing.

Not a bad idea.

Considering that only the Orion is announced for the next set of mechs, and even if you include the flea, there are still spots for a Medium and Assault mech to fill.
