A 12man of king crabs just sitting in the cave...
*shudders*
about the only way that 12 man would survive.
12 mechs moving like frozen molasses, with the most massive set of hit boxes in the game, in the open would just look like a all you can eat seafood buffet to me. (O.... so u brought Gauss on your KGC to help at range.... let me sneeze on your arms and oops... it just blew up)
I see the LRMs come a raining.....

Actually they said it's just "FLUFF" now, and will not be a dictating force for MWO development..
So in reality it's not lax, it's "GONE"..
Also: Devastator, Annihilator, Mauler, Thunderhawk and any canon-time appropriate ballistic assaults.
not the dictating force and gone are not really the same thing. Usually that would mean that while the Timeline is still relevant, it simply won't exclude other things IF those things are needed to make the game better. Out of timeline Mechs, in and of themselves likely are not going to start just popping up, simply because they are going to be less timeline rigid. Since those mechs in and of themselves do nothing to "fix (or even tbh, improve) the core game itself.
