Still doesn't change the attractiveness of this DEAL (considering the 3rd person goodies that are likely to be put in place by the time it rolls out), but I guess people will be more likely to GRAB it.

Don't project your cheapass bitterness over something that is basically a separate issue from the actual game itself.
Not true in ANY way. I have a shelf FULL of video games than I can play any time, essentially forever. MWO is 'at the whim of the company'. Any time they drop the servers, any time the internet is down, I don't have the game I paid for. It IS pixel trash, as are most online games.

Could you imagine you have bought the Overlord pack and you recieved the 4 pheonix ones in their own mech bays and then a message pops up, the other variants will be sent once you have room in your mechbays, or you can buy more here....... Then there would be a shitstorm.
The only thing i can complain about the mechbay's is not recieving one with the hero mech purchases.
The fact that you can't sell the mech's and this wasn't know beforehand means a lot of people bought the package thinking it was a better deal. There are a TON of people that bought this package primarily for the battlemaster. Thinking they could sell the variants they couldn't need for C-bills, so they'd still benefit hugely from the package. This small detail however means that those people will suddenly be getting far, far less mileage out of their deal. These things should be mentioned beforehand. The Hero phoenix mech's everyone can understand as the founders mech's can't be sold either. But the normal variants...
Not to mention that these forums have been buzzing with activity and comments regarding this. people saying they will sell of the variants they don't need, make use of the mechbays because it's such a good deal. PGI could have intervened at any moment, put it in their FAQ or something. This to me makes it bad business practice which leaves me saddened to say the least.

PGI already has lost my faith in their ability to guide this game content wise and greedy scummy grab deals like this is making me question their integrity.
If anyone purchased the Phoenix and is now regretting it I suggest you email support and get a refund because this sure as hell is grounds for it.

I've been on your side for everything from balance issues to development delays.
But never did you say we couldn't sell the variants we don't want, and keep the mech bays which you said we would receive. We don't really OWN those mech bays if we can't get access to them after the huge amount of money we've put down, so don't say we GET the mech bays!

What's even the point of bundling mechbays when their only purpose is to make sure you can actually deliver your product? We get NOTHING from them if we can't empty them.

If it was just one person yeah it would not be an issue, but it has been multiple people over the span of the last year on multiple items. This is just another example of how ****** up the development at PGI is.
