Devs,

If you end up nerfing seismic sensor range to 180m and 250m can you please simply refund the seismic sensor to everyone that has purchased it? Those that wish to keep it can buy it again.

Seismic allowed scouts to truly scout and mediums to brawl with most heavies and assaults. With the range nerf it becomes a completely useless tool for scouting and a too-short-range-to-make-a-difference module for mediums.

I would rather put my hard-earned GXP on other modules. A nerf like this makes the module a lemon...and I want ma'h money back :( (*meat loaf song)

As a spider/jenner pilot I agree with this, would be better to tweak blips to the weight of a mech.

I agree. Mediums depend on this module to do their jobs right. Considering that mediums are worst weight class in game in terms of, speed, armor and damage they nerf this class even more....

So you're saying that if it gets brought in line with the other modules, you want a refund instead of keeping it. I... you... what???

Why can't they limit modules to different kinds of robots as additional MECH QUIRKS?

It's not like they had any problem doing that with ECM and AMS.

What he is saying is that people, including myself, invested 15,000 GXP to get this module because of how it currently works. If it gets changed significantly then we might not have invested the GXP to get it and would instead got something else with our GXP. This is not to mention the 6 million C-bill investment per module.

Seems reasonable to me that if they change something significantly, they should offer a refund in the GXP and C-bills if people don't like the module after the change.

Note: I personally will still keep it at 250m max range but others might not feel the same way.

you know your still going to run it at 250m. so why make a big issue.

and your saying it was needed in order to brawl lulz?!?!!? seismic is the anti brawl module.

hey snipers my max range is 270m, but here is a 400m warning to start kiting and sniping me

I think the seismic resolution should be lessened, like Aliens movement sensor. It's like a radar, it spots you a position, then you have to wait 2-3 seconds for the following sonar ping, and then good luck guessing if those two blips are the same mechs moving of the previous ping or are 4 in total because the first two are standing still.. this nerf would have been more efficient, more suspence-related.

I'd like something above back to its original range, but you reach 400m only when you're not moving. If you move then max range is reduced to 250m like it is now. Whatever..

Hey, they should totally give you a refund for any OP weapon/module when it gets nerfed! Then we could abuse the OP stuff as much as we like and would even get a refund if it is actually nerfed!

It is not being brought in line with other modules because there is no other module remotely like it.

No it was not obvious. The range of it enabled you to see only in minimap, not to target or lock on to them. It is absolutely idiotic to think seismic at 250m is going to be of any use for scouting or for helping mediums brawl because for scouting, 250m = you're almost on top of them (and you die quick to the team's combined guns) and for brawling you cannot use it to have situational awareness so you do not use your speed (the only thing that a medium relies on to survive) to run into the entire enemy team. A medium runs 250m in less than 2 seconds.

Seismic is NO DIFFERENT than the missile warning system.

I don't care about the cbill cost..its the GXP I want refunded. It takes a long time to build it up and its very unpleasant to have the functionality of it removed simply because a small portion of the playerbase complains about it.

I had a good laugh at that. People are so braindead these days.

Its a beta. NO.

Why not refund everything for everyone now, since we keep getting buffs and nerfs to weapons and mechs, and jumpjets.

It's not beta, no matter what they might claim. It's release, as they're accepting money and there will be no resets.

250 meters is still godlike, appreciate that they didnt nerf it down to 100 meters, that would have been truly useless.

Yep. They may as well just remove all "fog of war", and let us see everyone on the map, if they're going to leave this wall-hack in, in any form.
