I tried that in mechcommander 2. I also tried an Atlas with only machine guns on the scouting mission. Neither worked

Buy a AC 10 Turrent its cheaper.

Its a fun mech to pimp out for a merc unit or pirate faction. But I have seen tracked tanks out perform it. Plus once you run out of ammo you only have a small laser.

Urbie is the ultimate fighting machine!

(side note: actually all AC equipped mech have the ammunition problem, and yes, all tank are actually outperform the Mech's, just compare the Hetzer and the Hunchback... )

I vote yes for Urbanmech. They don't look cool & they are slow, but they were made for fighting in cities not cross country. If this game has any city maps Urbanmech will excel as a mech that pokes it's head out, fires, steps back and fires again.

Urbie's are definitely worth having if just for entertainment value. Slow, small, but agile in a clunky way. And sometimes the trashcan really can put itself on your head....

I totally want an Urbanmech. I would paint it to look just like R2-D2 and would make beeping noises to acknowledge commands from the lance leader.

OK first off I am a Puma Mech Fanatic and have to ask why the urban mech it is the slowest light mech and lovingly refer to as the walking soda can
The armor isn't great and the weapons loadout has never been that good other than the clan flamer that is normal standard.
It is a good little mech but i would take even a FireFly mech over the urban mech it is just that weak

but still TRADITION MUST BE UPHELD GIVE US THE URBAN OR WE WILL REMOVE YOUR KIDNEYS
