Atlas Is Too Vulnerable

There is a major disconnect between the art the department, the modeling department and the way the game actually plays.
But it's not as if the Atlas sucks, there are some situations that you can get in where you are at a disadvantage, part of being a good pilot is learning to avoid them.

i have 2.5 kda on atlases . Your not going to dodge bad sitation on alpine for example . People will put 30 ppcs in you before you can get anywhere . its not like they can't see you slowly crawling toward them .

So is all of this just based on Alpine? If so, suck it up and wait for map voting when it comes out with UI2.0. I don't forsee anyone voting for Alpine.

I unlocked master on atlas . I am as good on atlas as you can get
I doubt that because.
A.) your name has madcat in it.
B.) you're a kuritan
c.) from what you're saying, you don't know how to play an atlas.
You might have unlocked master for playing one a lot but you haven't actually mastered how to play an atlas.
The only reason why my (and prob your) atlas struggles with lights is because HSR or the netcode sucks. Is all.

Options.
Search for a box on the lower-left that says "Arm Lock"
Click that.
This.
2.5kdr you say OP? with what you are saying i seriously doubt it. You sound just like any other scrub atlas pilot that charges out into the middle of the entire enemy team alone thinking you can kill everyone ever.

Atlas can't aim large laser that well . You either on a elavated gorund or you are too slow to turn .
No most 85th don't run XLS . I have ferro armor on PPC poker and 300 engine on brawler stalker
Unlocking Master means nothing and being as good as YOU can be piloting an Atlas, doesn't mean your actually good at piloting an Atlas. I have played several mechs, Backjack for example, that I totally suck at piloting where as others, like the Quickdraw, I consider myself among the top players in the game with.
Altas is fine. I am running the following stats with the trial Atlas RS(C) that is currently in game, no efficiencies.
Matches: 39
Wins: 25
Losses: 14
W/L: 1.79
Kills: 46
Deaths: 16
K/D: 2.56
Avg Dmg: 356
Again this is the Trial AS7-RS(C) and which I can't modify, can't add modules and can't unlock any efficiencies on, even basic.
If your having a problem with the Atlas, its you, not the mech.

Even when not, most of the things you say, show most readers, that you didnt think a lot about the things you wrote or will write.

AMS, ECM, proper use of cover, moving perpendicularly to the incoming missiles. All very helpful.
If you get caught in the open, that's really your fault, and it doesn't matter if it was LRM's PPC's, etc. you would get destroyed quickly due to pin point accurate instant convergence.
