I'm somewhat less annoyed now at the abrupt lack of warning for server downtime at least.
*sigh* It takes time to get legal work done for stuff like this. They probably had the mech ready months ago. Beuracacy moves at the speed of molasis.

You got $10 and a day without negative criticism from me, PGI.
For anyone who wants some reassurance from an independant third-party that the money spent on Sarah's Mech is going to the right places, here is a link to Charity Intelligence, which compiles expenditure data for Canada's charities.

Their administration and fund-raising expenditures may seem high, but compared to previous fiscal years, they're in a trend of reducing the % of donations to those areas, not increasing. There shouldn't be any reservations about donating judging from their books. They seem legit.
Godspeed, Sarah.

Thank you so much for doing this PGI. I have never in my life been able to say that a purchase I've made in a game has gone to help others and I just really want to thank you for giving me the opportunity. That being said, once I get settled up financially (will be starting a new job God willing in the next few weeks) I'll be donating far more than 10 dollars directly to both the Candian, and American Cancer societies.
That being said, you all suck for making me bawl like a baby, but thank you so much for giving me and others this wonderful opportunity.

1) Father of 2. Cannot imagine losing one - I want Jon to know I/we support him at this horrible time
2) Close friend who also plays MWO father was diagnosed with terminal cancer last week - this goes out to him and his family.
3) Good cause.
PGI, in the future I hope you can look into trying to make this work for our comrades in arms from other countries so they can donate to their respective local causes, and/or for future uses when/if members of the community have similar tragedies we can support them as well. I would not like for this to be for Canadians only (and I proudly am one).

My mother survived two different cancers, but succumbed to two other non-curable illnesses in early 2011. I don't have children of my own, but as many have stated, there is little that could be more devastating to a parent than the loss of his / her child. My condolences to Sarah's family and thank you to everyone who takes part.
Farewell, little warrior, may you always "get 'em good"!

Bought through Paypal without a hitch, but that was right before it made $10K. Maybe there is some anti-fraud measures in place right around reaching $10K to make sure it's legit.

This mech should be in the inventory of every pilot that calls themselves a mechwarrior.

Props to PGI. Damn proud of this community today.

Cancer research is universal, so I didn't think twice even though I am from Portugal. My girlfriend is a nurse and works in the Lisbon Oncology Institute. Cancer is not prejudiced, it hits people from every color, religion, country, age... I just hope my purchase goes through.
