I would have loved to have supported this initiative.

However, the payment gateway rejected both my PayPal accounts and all three of my credit cards... even though I previously had them whitelist my account.

''UltimatePay'' is ''UltimateFail''.

WHat a hear-wrenching story! A fellow mechwarrior lost at such an early age. Cancer is a vile thing and the faster we can beat it the better. Purchased immediately!

Lots of respect to PGI for doing this, I couldn't think of a better tribute to a fallen Mechwarrior.

Damn, this got me all emotional. Good work PGI, very good work indeed.

when i get payed next week ill get mine.

i lost my last grandfather to 6 years ago to the same thing and iam a father of 5 great kids who are very healthy "thank god".

This is the most touching thing i have ever seen a online game do.

When i loged in today and saw Sarhas 'Mech for sale i allmost cryed knowing the pain her fam. is going though.

So for PGI to take the time to do this count me in come next week and ill get mine. Btw iam big guy ill have to say damn why are my eyes leaking!!

Bought in a flash.

There is no worthier cause for me, I lost my father last year to cancer.

Just ticked over $27k. Awesome effort from an equally awesome community.

One of the easiest decisions I've ever had to make regarding this game. Not only is it a good cause it's also a great little mech.

(I will be stripping out those useless streaks for a couple of SRM4s though.)

Oh, and we should have a 'Sarah's Day', when we get our mechs, and all run around for the day just in the Jenners.

I was just going to suggest this. I'm all for this. When is her birthday? That should be the annual one but I'd say we should run one the day they're unlocked.

Annnnnd, I've thrown in my two bits (and $9.50 more)!

I re-configured my JR7-D(F) with SRM-4s, and will keep the streaks in this 'mech ...

Great cause ... appropriate tribute from PGI ... incredible community response ... $27,330 and still counting.

Wow, just, wow ...

A worthy cause. We of Clan Ghost Bear will Honor Sarah's cause and wield this Mech into battle against our enemies!
I've made sure to contribute PERSONALLY, and like all others wait eagerly for the release day.

Heh, never met her in the game, but it would have been nice to face her, heheheh and probably be pwned by her, it is sad that such a young life was extinguished by such terrible disease, and i hope her family find comfort in the knowledge that she touched so many people through a game, our condolences and prayers are with them, and her.

Whoever was the first to propose this commemorative Mech, KUDOS to You, and KUDOS to the MWO community for pitching in, and help advance research for a cure against cancer. And, ofcourse, last but no least, KUDOS to PGI for making this happen!!.

Hmm.. i like the idea someone posted a few months ago, i will fire the first alpha strike straight at Heavens, with the Jenner, when i have it in her honor, Respect Lil' Mechwarrior!! watch over us and keep on enjoying the game through us!!

Purchased!!

For the people that asked why it isn't a hero mech:

My opinion is that it doesn't matter what kind of mech it is, I expected it to carry the (S) as it is going to, but never expected it to be a hero with C-Bill bonuses. I am surprised it is a champion and with unique paintjob to boot, to be frank.

We already had some(strangely) controversy about the special mech already, and I am willing to bet PGI saw that a hero mech would raise much, much more controversy around even calling out the honesty of the cause, rather than just a champion, as a way to say "Thank you" to us, instead of just a simple mech.

The real reason why Sarah's Mech isn't a hero mech is because Sarah is the hero.

Supported.

Had family members (adults) pass away because of cancer.

I can't imagine a child having to deal with it.

Like many of us, I have played multiple F2P and subcription MMOs over several years. Honestly, this is probably the first time I have seen such a combined positive gesture by both the game developers and community members. Though the donation page reads "Be a hero!", the true heros are those that have to endure cancer, the families that support them and medical personnel who work to comfort them. I am proud to donate towards their cause.
