Not that it was me that had this paint job (and I still don't - thank you for that cancel button!), but here's how it looks with the base colour set to black:

I was hoping to see "Sarah Parries" as a mech name when in game....

over 58k no. didn;t realize these were out until someone said "get em good" before a match today and sure enough there was a jenner (S) on my team. went back to my mechbay and there it was. having not played lights since briefly in closed beta i went to the training grounds and realized just how horrible i am at lights. i actually tweaked the loadout some to make it heat friendlier and felt bad. haven;t messed around with the coloring yet though.

Very nice! Mine! This is mine except my merc colors on the leg! Black as the base is the best! Why they made the main such a color that blends is beyond me !

I have a Long time Friend and Mech Warrior Brother Pilot who is in a Cancer Hospice in Oregon State now...
HIs name is Frank Lackaff, Callsign "HeeHaw". Frank is a 10+ year Brain Cancer survivor and battler to the end.
Frank's Drop ship is on final approach now, he's on his last mission. It will only be by the greatest gifts from the
Gods that he will ever pilot again.

... So when I saw the amazing tribute to Sarah.. I bought one. And to my delight... It arrived today following the server refresh!

The Sarah Project inspired me to dedicate a Jenner to Frank... and a second to Another dear friend, Albert who passed away from cancer just over a year ago. I'll piloting a trio of Cancer Memorial Jenners as a constant reminder for those that can no longer pilot, no longer share a joke, no longer give a hug. Thanks to the MWO community and the amazing outpouring of support for this imporatant work.

And when we drop next together,
Shoot straight.. just not at me.

So, to inaugurate my first few matches in this little terror, I had my little girl (5&3/4!) on my lap, charged with the sacred duty of putting the little circle over anything with a red triangle and BLASTING IT TO SMITHEREENS. Foolishly, she was also in charge of jumpjets. I was the brains behind the legs. I ran her through my light mech pre-flight-fight terminology checklist;

"SQUIGGEDY SQUIG! SQUIGGEDY SQUIG!" = jerk the mouse around like the cat when it got its head stuck in a sock. And yes, it was hilarious, and no, you really don't need to feel bad because dad wouldn't let you help him straight away.

"SWEEP THE KNEE" = aim for the legs! (Turns out even having the enemy on screen would have been wildly optimistic)

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH" = running away from missiles.

We had a blast. Apologies to the numerous friendly Atlas pilots, who despite being festooned with blue triangles, were "fat and easier to hit" and "HA! They don't even shoot back!"

"28 damage dad! Is that good?"
"Yep."

Wish I could like this more than once! Heartwarming. Awesome.

Also, only $130 to hit $60k. Call some friends!

For those of you who may have missed it, Sarah's father Jon visited PGI today.

I have 2 small children and I can not imagine the pain Jon and his family must be going through. The easiest purchase I ever made.

Cheers.

There's only one solution: Cry like a baby - I know I did.
