FD has already done some sketching on that front. However this is FAN ART, not official MWO material, he did this in his personal time ages ago.

I always liked the Jagermech... it's like a larger Urbanmech, which I also like.

Frankly, judging by the Stalker and even how great the new Centurion looks, I doubt there's any 'mech they can screw up, even the Yeoman. Maybe I just have too much faith after seeing what they've done so far.

I want to direct you all to shortpainter's redesign thread over in the Fan Art section.

Years ago, shortpainter took up a friend's challenge and proved that with the right skill, any 'mech can look cool. Here are his redesigns of many of the ugliest ones out there. Jaeger, Urbie, Blackjack, the Eggs, there's a bunch. Couple Unseens to boot. Go! Feast your eyes and revel in the glorious beauty that is the Sentinal!

Oh god no those are the worst. It's not even the melee aspect that kills them for me, it's the fact that they are holding swords in their hands and that a swords method of damage is totally impractical for defeating armor. It pushes my suspension of disbelief meter past my limit.

Oh and on topic, I personally find the Battlemaster ugly as hell. I mean, it's holding a gun in its hands, how un-BattleTech is that? One of the only mechs where I actually prefer the DarkAge redesign.

How can you hate the Mackie? That is like hating a Model-T because it doesn't look like a 2012 Mustang, Camero, or Corvette or something.

Anyway. On topic: There are alot of really fugly designs out there. The Thug (ugh), the original Marauder, the Firefly and its broken arms (poor thing) the Victor and its terrible haircut, the pregnant godzilla that is the Annihilator...I could go on and on.

Oh,don't get me wrong. Mackie is indeed a fine Model T. That doesn't excuse the fact that it's old, clunky, and likely incapable of being blessed with a redesign.
