I'm seeing people stating that they won't patch. No idea how widespread that is, but if it's systemic then it'll affect bandwidth costs and server populations in interesting ways. Might make people take notice, might not. Who knows? Also I have no idea what Stalkerr has in mind, but I'm sure it'll be diplomatic as heck.
So which do you think is more diplomatic.. foot stomping or breath holding? I think breath holding it's quieter and less intrusive. A lot of stomping feet can be annoying.

I thought people already stopped playing, or is that something you say to sound tough? It will be interesting indeed. We'll get to see if missing the .5% will have an impact. That is if they actually stick to not installing and not playing. Game communities tend to talk tough but they just play on their other accounts so actual server population doesn't change much. At least that's been my experience. Maybe this time it will be different, but I won't hold my breath.

In reality did folks honestly expect if this movement is to have any effect for it to happen in 4 days? Especially when they clearly had this patch in the works for a while. That's why some of the expectations here are just plain silly. This is nothing new and not some huge game changer just because you have a few signatures on a letter that just repeats what's been said for months.
Even if PGI takes notice and wants to do something you think they were going to pull this patch or something crazy like that? That's why stuff like this on forums always entertains me. Game development is a marathon not a sprint and there is huge inertia built up. Even if they wanted to change something it wasn't going to happen in 4 days.
That's why the shift in tone is so sad and yet funny in a schadenfreude way. People get all worked up in an echo chamber of like minded folks and then get shocked when the rest of the world goes on with no change.
If this is some genuine movement, you need patience and can't be quitters in 4 days with no results. Anyways I am legitimately interested in what comes next.
