It's a bit lame that you're roleplaying an imaginary birdman when there were real giant birds called Moa. When I lived in New Zealand I was part of a historical society that would try to recreate traditional Maori life - some of the more furry friendly members would dress up as Moa and then we would hunt them in the woods.

The point I'm trying to get around to is that a good game should educate as well as entertain, so why not make these bird men Moa instead of fantasy bird men?

Because Tetatae, a sentinent alien race actually exist in the BT universe.

Now, on the other hand, said birdmen actually have zero connection in-canon with the Inner Sphere. Ever. Which makes it kinda derpy to have them as Capellans, but we're talking SA folks here. They're freakin Manbirds. :D

Or RP while killing...(things like taunting davion players over an open channel while shooting at them)...I like that option.

While this is a noble thought, moa are not part of the BT canon, while the Tetatae ARE. Unless there a novel featuring a noble moa warrior that I have somehow missed reading?

The sheer racism of those who wish to silence the Tetatae minority is simply mind boggling. I thought House Liao prided itself on its loyalty to the Chancellor, but apparantly I was grossly mistaken. Do not think that these travesties are going unnoticed.

Hmph Tetatae RPers are ridiculous posers. You play pretend at things you can never understand.

I on the other hand, am a Tetatae-Kin. I and others like me truly know what it is to SqUACK with a clutch mate or worship the glorious metal god with a rousing SQuACK. Watching your groups try to muster even a half hearted SQUAck draws many a chuckle.

As a Tetatae-Kin I know the true hardship as the focus of intense jealousy from the normals, but I care not. I know in my heart of hearts that I can always fly away from it all.

I can not stand idly by while Tetatae, a race of sentient being, are being denied the right to earn Capellan citizenship. We must insure that they have proper representation within the Court of Philosophical Inquiry. This oppression will not stand.

If they can bring the Chesterton Commonality back into rightful Capellan hands, even I would vote for a bird Tetatae for Chancellorship.

Citizens do get a vote in such things, right?

We can then also make a new class of Citizen, The Plumaged class, for all Tetatae - and furries.
