Am back to having stability problems. approx 50% of games result in random lockup with no error only able to kill process with task manager.

I'M NOT USING AMD AND AVAST so this is not solely causing the issue.

Of the lock ups 10% can be resolved by waiting but in this case I notice the gpu is still being utilized and so know to wait for recovery. If the GPU utilization drops to 0% then a process kill is required. I second the call for premium time refunds.

tldr patch is nerfed.

I don't use Avast nor have I had it on my machine, ever. I do run and AMD processor though. To me, this means there is more to it than the "Avast! workaround". I continue to have random ctd with NO error messege as well as lock-ups. Sometimes the lock-ups release me back to the game, others are full system locks that need either a task manager process end or hard reboot... these last couple patches have been no bueno.

Guys, the AMD+Avast thing is for getting stuck at the login screen I believe. The client lock-ups in game are something different all together I believe.

I'm using an Intel processor and a different AV than Avast, yet I still get client lock-ups every couple matches.

This has got to be the most unstable game I have ever attempted to play. I say "attempted" to play, because I can't actually play when I crash more than half the time. Recent patches have only made it worse (how that's possible I'll never know). Besides the crashes, the game is full of bugs because apparently PGI doesn't test any new features (like movement archetypes; getting stuck on rocks, slowing down going downhill, don't even get started on Terra Therma, wow).

And this game is going to "launch" next month? I'm going to go ahead and wave the bull**** flag right now. This is a joke.

Yeah point taken on Avast and AMD not being the cause of the instability. I miss read the other posts, nevertheless instability still exists.

This patch has definitely taken a step in the wrong direction. We're back to softlocking after taking one or two steps. I've had a couple games lock even as my pilot/avatar was pressing his start up buttons. Jesus Christ, but do I regret ever having purchased MC right now. I have friends on their way over to spend the weekend. I will NOT be showing them this game!

I've had at least 6 server connection lost tonight ( while playing or while loading map). No issue with my internet, my teamspeak is fine, no packet loss, speed test at 49 mbps. I don't think my connection has to do with those crash.

Got a few server disconnects, severe drops in fps and until now 3 or 4 times a lock up of the MW:O client. Nothing will work but shutting down MW:O via task manager.
On restart (of the client) everythings fine again.

+1 on freezes in match.

Usually it's when a new enemy mech appears on the screen.

Before the patch I was getting Lock ups where if I opened my task manager The game would come unstuck and I could play again. Annoying, but not as bad as now where I get a (not responding) code on the top bar. I play in full windowed mode and have been for a long time. I do not understand how a game would get more unstable after a patch... Aren't things like this supposed to be fixed in patches?

bad patch!
with this patch i have a freez nearly every game. longest series is 3 games in a row.
so that game is at the moment unpayable.
bevor this patch i have a crash 1 of 10-15 games in a row.

Also getting in-game freezes here, i7 processor with a GeForce GTX 770 card. Happens every few matches. So far, I've been able to get the game running again by just alt-tabbing out of it and restoring it from the taskbar.

I propose a complete boycott of any/all new premium content until this issue is fixed, once and for all. This **** has gone on for far, far too long.

Having more stability problems after last patch. Strange disconnects and had a game where many DC'd with only 6 on 4.

Hey guys, I realize it's the weekend and all, but why not just rollback the patch until you get things figured out?

You have a large number of users, myself included, who currently can not log in to the game.

Getting lockups all the time since yesterday. Coincides with the forum errors that popped up. Never had lock ups this bad before.

Not overclocking My GPU.
Not overclocking My CPU.
Running an Intel i5 2500k sandy bridge.

Starting to get worried. Can repeated crashing like this harm your gpu?

Twice after the patch the whole game froze. have to use task manager to turn off the game. first instance..i was face hugging another mech with mg blazing..and it froze. 2nd time, i was abt 100 m away from atlas with mg blazing...and it froze again. im running amd processor but no antivirus..

Ahhh I see someone has the same problems as me. I think machine guns are overloading the server in some way and disconnecting people randomly. This has also happened to me several times since the last patch.

If you stay in the game, frozen, I believe it will unfreeze as soon as the match ends or you're destroyed since not everyone in the match gets frozen, only random people do.
