Looks nice.
But I think the hips should be a bit wider!
Then it would be great. ;)

The 'mech looks fine but I'm a little pissed off that Lights were skipped again. The Flea is probably half a year off at this point. The Light being released in October is the Locust which probably means that no Light will be introduced 3 months before or after October.

As much as I'd love to see a 55 ton medium, I'd still rather see my Orion in place of another missile boat.

well it looks sorry boring. like the trebuchet its a nice and useful mech but its looks boring its looks the same boring :/
look how many Stalker Catapult Cataract Cicada Jenner Raven Jager is on the battlefield.
People want an awesome looking unique futuristic killing machine not a similar looking clumsy humans fighting in armor

Want a mech with character?
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Albatross
Make it happen Alex.

Also before someone says it: Screw the timeline, I want a beaked assault.

@SteelPaladin, theres the wolfhound 35 ton light, uses mostly lasers, utilizes ecm and moves fairly fast (for tabletop), theres also the panther, which with the current meta would work great since it uses a damned ppc. speed wont be an issue since the TT version doesnt go very fast. its a heavy armor light mech that snipes. theres the hermes, with TONS of varients, and a personal fav, the valkyrie, honestly, i dont think its very high on the list of priorities to fix the issues with lights, and thats fine. Im still gonna play my heart out solo;ing atlai in my death knell.

Our first 55 ton mech. Might be interesting. Also the first to allow Quad SRMs in that size class.

---

If you want a mech with different look - Crab and King Crab and the Annihilator might also qualify. They are pretty distinct.

The classical NARC mech, too bad NARC is pretty much useless in MWO.

It's naturally meant to be used by the 3L to assist team mates, so I guess it's slightly useful in 8-mans, although I've never played in a team. Never seen one in a pug game.

The day we achieve a narc-meta...

I was hoping for the Orion but I always wanted an extra 5 tons on a medium mech and now we have the first 55 ton medium.

rounded surfaces are much more complex, thats prob why.

This goes for both game design as manufacturing.

Creating armour in such round complexes is either very complicated or it has to be made of cast material. And cast metal is more difficult to repair then a welded structure

just...saying

i like it

So...does this mean that we possibly get TWO mechs next month? Since normally they would have announced the hero for next week by now.

Edit: Perhaps they save those rounded surfaces for the Clans - to make them look different/more elegant and so on?
