For those happy about a lot of missile hardpoints, let me just remind you of our new and wonderful magical ghost heat penalty system. The limits on SRMs before they magically create heat from nothing is:
SRM-2: 4
SRM-4: 4
SRM-6: 3

And if you're crazy enough to think LRMs, the limit on anything but LRM-5 is 2.

You seriously did not just ask that question in MW:O.

Lore-wise, it's a NARC carrier in it's original configuration and a small bang for a buck in the rest. Commando on Steroids, essentially.

Well fluff wise it was ment to be a NARC mech designed to mark enemy mechs as part of a missile lance. In MWO you will see it divided squarely between missile boating at range or missile boating for brawling. (IE either LRMs with TAG or SRMS with ML or ppc)

Given its size is supposed to be slightly shorter than a cataphract it actually might be a well scaled machine compared to the Tribuchet. Sadly this mech has the same issues the Victor and Quickdraw does: its variants are not very diverse in hardpoints. You'll see alot of 3M/2E vs 2M/3E vs 4M/1E type designs.

Very Quickdraw alike, nobody heard of that Mech until now, so it is very probably in my opinion the new August Mech.

What for a disappointment... I don't care for the Orion, but for another light BattleMech!

It's the second time the light to assault circle is broken and no new Light is published.

That's just disappointing.


And I have to say the second use of already made BattleMechs might be economical, but I don't like to have twins on the battlfield:

The BJ is already the smaller twin of the JM and


the Kintaro looks like a (most probably) smaller variant of the QD (Yeah, I know, the shoulders... But look at the hips).

I am actually a little excited. I looks like it could be everything I wanted and tried to make my Trenchbuckets be, minus the jumpjets. I am looking forward to the variant announcements so I can start my planning.

Are you serious? The Shadow Hawk from the Phoenix Package was the first 55 ton medium. Also the Orion has already been announced.

To top it off we still don't know which Battlemech they are going to release this month.
