Yep, no cries. But much lesser money for PGI from me.

Why, because what he said was true?

Its only time for you to stop making unconstructive topics/posts such as this one. Personnaly Im having a lot of fun, I find the balance in good shape minus a few problems(PPCs+GAUSS) and many upcomming features Im really looking foward(UI 2.0).

If the game is that bad, it will crumble on itself, it doesnt need posts like that. So far its not the case, so Im off to play, and I hope you are off to take some fresh air, you need it.

There is one Ukrainian tale about 2 frogs that felt into jug with milk: one thought "what's the reason to fight for life?" - and was drowned; another one floundered and whisked an island of butter. Got my point?

P.S. Don't tell me what to do and I don't tell you where you can go with your advices...

I do understand, but you are neither of the frogs in that story nor is PGI the milk. Whether you fight and live, or give up and drown will not change the fact that the bucket of milk is simply a bucket of milk. It's up to a milkmaid to change it from milk into butter.

Had no intention to tell you what to do nor have you suggest what I can do with my opinion.

Just don't like to see people who have (for all intents and purposes) given up hope or expect things to change at their timetable and find frustration in that not happening.

Take a break, keep updated by PGI's email and return when you see that things are changing for the better. It saves you some of the frustration you're expressing here with PGI.

I have done this on more than one occasion. And after playing for a week or so every patch that PGI releases.

Don't like the game? Don't play the game.

Spent money on the game and don't like the game? You should bring your concerns up to those who have your money.

When you say to a one group of people, "those other people owe me stuff," some will agree, some will disagree. That first group of people won't be able to do anything about your money (even if they agree you should be able to get it back).

Whether or not your get your money back is moot.

I was hoping for Battlefield with mechs, but got CoD
There are two reasons i'm still playing:
1) It's free.
2) The occasional match is fun (i just wish they all were).

This close to "release" (the game to me was 'released' the moment they started releasing hero mechs for actual money) they should be focusing on balancing and actual game features and mechanics that add to matches, not this 3rd person gimmick.

Aren't Battlefield and CoD basically the same game? I've played both and I can't fathom how they differ that much from each other they you hoped for one and got the other and are now disappointed. It's like you are saying you wanted Pac-Man but got Ms. Pac-Man instead. Color me confused.

Ultimately it won't come down to any one of us to deciding to leave that takes this game where it going. The only things steering this train is playerbase and its derivative cashflow.

We can hope that the devs wake up and realize that playerbase doesn't equal cashflow, then it again that might be the case. However, if they make that mistake and they are wrong in that their larger base isn't the kind that pays, then it will be too late to save the game.

For those about to leave, do so, either way we're stuck waiting for what the outcome will be. Afterwards... expect a new kickstarter to make the same mistakes until the franchise is dead.

The game is absolutely wonderful and incredibly well balanced, there are 8 players a side and they all have the option to fit ppc and gaass.

really? One little feature would have turned you from a gold 120$ founder to a non-founder? You don't think that's a little bit excessive?

Can you guys keep your emotions in check for a minute and think about it thoroughly? It's not as bad as you all think, I wish you'd figure that out.

yeah, I'm a PGI employee who keeps asking for a ECM rework, hardpoint crit slots, convergence fix and heat rework

I'm not saying the game is perfect, but 3rd person is nothing compared to the broken core mechanics.

Maybe the OP is checking for people with hope so that his own my be bolstered. Honestly I hate almost all the game balance patches since ECM and play this game far less then I would like to. I have friends I play with so I will stick around to play with them and see what CW will be like. But this is a game that could be awesome but they keep putting in un-awesome.

None in that case: it depends on player's (consumer's) willpower to change the game.

Good idea, really. But with every patch game becomes worse and worse... that kills me. It's the first and the last (in case BIS come back) MO game that got money from me...

With the last few patches and now 3rd person view rearing it's ugly head....that begs the question. Is it time to throw in the towel? Is it time for most of us die hard BT fans to realize this isn't the game we hoped for and were promised? What do you guys think?

Yes ... you should throw in the towel and go away and never come back. That would be called "community betterment". I bet you, and a bunch of you idiots leaving would do wonders for the community.

BTW ... seen 3PV ... didn't think it was going to be an issue ... it's not an issue ... didn't think it would ruin the game ... and it's not going to ruin the game.

Time for all the doom and gloom players to simply leave and never come back.

This is NOT Battletech: Online
This is NOT Battletech: Online

This is MECHWARRIOR: Online, and since you seem to fail in understanding what that means lemme explain a little.
A Mechwarrior game is BASED on the Battletech Universe, but is NOT the BT universe iteslef, this means it can be changed or altered to the devs means. All previous mechwarrior titles did the same, and in some way changed the game, but it never claimed to be Battletech. This game is no different from the ones before it.

3PV has been in a MW game since MW3, its here to stay, each developer has had there take on it, and this time it looks like PGI got it mostly right, a few tweaks to it and it will be perfect (aka the spotting issue the rest looks just fine).

Also another thing of note. You so-called "hardcore" BT fans, are a very small minority that need to SHUT IT!

Each small change taken separately seems totally acceptable, but to those of us that can foresee how further changes could lead to very bad things,

we must have forgotten about your ability to see into the future and divine the impact of each cumulative patch >.<

are you a wizard?

seriously though if you want something closer to the tabletop experience why don't you try signing up for the Mechwarrior tactics beta?
