It would be a shame to not have melee in the game. Having fought my way near to the top of the Solaris IV arenas with my Axeman and having wrecked people with my Berzerker, I have a lot of love for the martial art. Getting in that close should be hard to do against very mobile targets anyways so I don't think it will be imbalancing to add. I wouldn't be heartbroken if it were limited or even non-existent on release, but I really hope that it comes in somewhere down the line.
