That's ironic as it's the only one I can't stand.

No. The trial by fire sale is always on the weekend before the first patch of the month. Its because in that patch the trial mechs are changed.

Here are the others:
Weekend after first patch, Hero sale of the months weight class.
Weekend before second patch, Mech sale of the months weight class.
Weekend after second patch, tournament.

No. This occurs on a regular basis. Expect the Trial Mechs to change after the sale.

Has anyone noticed that all the Champion mechs after the Dragon have ALL been mechs that the Founders have (not necessarily the variant, but the chassis)?

Dragon -> Jenner -> Hunchback-> Atlas (-> Catapult in next patch).

Again: Meh.

I'm glad you posted this.

Because it gives me an opportunity to say: if you're not going to contribute beyond "this isn't for me therefore I am going to show up to tell everyone how it isn't" please find another area of the forums to post on. If you don't like the sale, fine, but showing up to say 'Meh' is a waste of everyones time, including yours.

I believe most people are tend to want sales for colors or camos... which you provide none of in the current sale.

In fact, I think most times people comment positively about sales with them. It would actually make sense to include such sales often (even if the camo patterns aren't great), especially with the "savings" you'd get from buying mechs that you could get from c-bills, you would put a good camo+color on sale to go with this idea.

It's the little things that make sales more meaningful. This sale does not interest me at all, just based on what is being sold.

Considering how often you run sales that only include mechs for MC, they probably are a success. Lots of people would never buy standard mechs with MC though. Having an alternative for that group would be nice, especially after two mech-only sales in a row.

There needs to be more of a spread. We have some very "full" sale weekends, then others like this one.

One weekend we get multiple colors on sale, XP conversion AND hero mechs. Another we get the trial by fire.

Mix it up a little more. The XP conversion would have made an alright companion with the trial by fire...

Man, where did you get those? They are discontinued prototypes... and for a very good reason.

Those few of them that were created were done before even the disolution of the famous Star League. Why would GM resume the production of a failed mech when they have their hands full sending mechs to the Lyran Commonwealth which has quite a few problems holding the invaders back?

Not Mechs that I want at this time, so I will pass on this sale.

Just by way of hopefully helpful feedback, I prefer it when you add to these sales also the option to buy discounted XP conversion, or failing that, camo and colors.

For those considering purchasing these Mechs: I've found the BJ-1X to be the best of the BJs, thanks to its 8ML 40 point alpha capability combined with a maxxed out speed of 108kph.

Last official info about an MC sale was that it will be around the same time as the last. So it will be around November/December.

The term 'Trial Mech' refers to variants that are put up for free use in a 'borrowed' sense, the sale here is for the variants used for said trial mechs. So in example if you buy the Commando 2D your not getting a 'trial 2D' your getting a 2D thats yours, owned and completely customizable to your liking. (Cbills and MC permitting)

In fact, you would definitely want to modify them after you bought them, to make them competitive.

The BJ-1X for example really needs double heat sinks, and full armour. Endo Steel and a bigger XL engine are also advisable.

Thanks! I guess the term "trial-mech" made me suspicious...
