Good thing poptarting got un-nerfed in the previous patch, right? Good thing that fundamentally the best mech in the game has been the same since February, the twin PPC + gauss or twin Gauss + PPC Phract 3D, right? It's amazing!

I wonder how the first win of the day XP bonus works with premium and champion mechs...

Also If we have an XP bonus per mech every 24 hours, can we have a C-Bill bonus per account every 24 hours?

Looks good!

Very exciting looking patch. I never played 12 man on the test server so looking forward to giving this a go.

That's because HSR was broken. So they buffed the projectile speed and reduced the heat... then never removed them when PPC's could actually hit things.

They need to raise the heat back to canon levels: PPC=10 heat, ERPPC=15 heat.

Dude we release in like under three months weeks so we have like four one and a half patches tops the way PGI does things. Plus, calling something that's been using agile-type deployment a "Beta" is either a joke or an empty platitude wailed by people who don't understand development of software.

Additionally, it would be a beta test, if they actually gave us anything to freaking test. But really, it's your fault, closed beta testers. You are the ones who got "burnt out" after PGI did not change anything for literal weeks during closed beta. Yes, it is all your fault, and not at all the fault of the glorious development team who can do no wrong.

It changes the game, a LOT.

you can't blob very well with 12 mans, so you end up with more of a battle line. Which then enables things like flanks and fast harassers to hit the edges and....well harass.

LRM's are more useful due to better spotting due to more eyes.

Therefore TAG is more useful to bring if you are in an infighter or scout as you can be pretty sure at least one person has LRM's.

Fast caps will have to be watched as well, and play D will become required IMO.

ehmm, LOL?
HSR is in the work and can't be fixed instantly, same with the old yellow-hud bugs.
And about your 8man team. Guess you were not playing in 8mans before either, or the queue were not as deserted as you and others always want us to believe...
Oh and you seem to haven't read that this WILL come asap when tonnage limits are in.... Not reading everything, huh?

I expect that'll be the case... it'd be nice to see it in print is all. Can't have everyone racking up CBills & (ohmygoodness) needing more mechbays to spend them in...
