Hotfix worked for me, thank you PGI.

About the CBILL nerf... care to explain the reasoning kills are worth less than assists?

I understand not wanting them to be more than assists, but wouldn't making them be worth the same in C-bills incentive-ize them equally? So you would rather us to hit each enemy and not kill any of them to maximize our earnings...how muffed up is that anyways?

I had a solid nvidia control panel vsync'd 60 fps before 12v12. Everything maxed. Now I get a stuttering 25-50. I'm really not in the business of removing features (mech glow) to increase performance. I have a i7 3770k, 16gb of ram and a Gtx 690. The next patch needs to be DX 11 and more support for high end machines.

More fps than before the drop here !
Before the best I got was 22, now I can reach 30.
Although the graphix now really suck. Looks like low setting sare way lower now than before.

But who cares? It is playable and fun again!

Thanx for the fix !!

Roll back your drivers and overclock that 690. Remember MWO sees it as an underclocked 680 ( so really almost like a 670 ) and the latest Nvidia drivers have been causing problems.

Oddly enough this fix dropped my FPS. Normally I am between 85-102 FPS. After the update, high 60s mid 70s. Same thing with the server fix that was done to reduce ping. Prior to the fix, my ping was 80-85. regardless of what time it was or how many ppl were on. After the fix my ping floats between 120-140. That started the instant the fix went live. No changes to anything on my end.

Granted this is by no means a high end machine, but getting knocked down with each of the supposed fixes just plain sucks.

All the latest drivers here also
rig specs.
Z77 Sabertooth board.
3770k @3.9
32g 1866 ram
GTX 680 4gig OC edition.
Intel 520 series SSD. OS and game installed here.
Asus 27 inch 144 Hz monitor. 1920X1080

All game settings maxed.

I wasn't aware the latest drivers are causing problems. I'll look into rolling it back. And yeah, even in the nvidia control panel you can't force this game to alternate between the two gpu's. I've had it OC'd to 4.6 since forever and its never been this troublesome. Thanks for the feedback though.

Try this it should give you more FPS. I know it helped me. I tried it after this patch. It helped enough I am keeping it installed. Also notice the reviews so I am not the only one. http://download.cnet...10913645-2.html

this hotfix significantly increased the performance on my low end system (C2D E8500, HD4850, 4GB DDR2, Win8).I get fps from 20 to 40+ now, what is a little better than before the 12v12 patch I think. absolutely playable again. well done!

It's becoming apparent that the high ends are compensating for the low end pc's.

Not cool man.

This last patch has made me do something I haven't done since CB.

Uninstall.

Thanks xx sulla xx that program really helped! I was really disappointed with the performance with the fps going way up and down. MWO was practically unplayable. Its much better now.

How did you get it to select MWO? It's not on my menu of games to Launch.

Did not help with high-end cards. Still need DX11.

Yep seems to have helped with my performance. FPS seems to be overall higher although frame rate stability is still a bit crazy. It sometimes goes from 38 ish to as low as 20 according to F9 at least. However visually it seems to be running consistently smooth. Since this problem was found in textures I'm also gonna be checking in to see if it affects a black screen issue I was having during game. Ctrl+Alt+Del and going to task manager seemed to be a fix again for this problem after patch. However as was noted in support tickets and threads sent in as a batch with my clan when we went to the Omni log's we found that there was a texture error being noted that appeared to be linked with the problem. If I seem to be getting fewer of these random black screens I'll report back in.

Something seems a lot smoother, I havent' played since last wednesday though so must be good ;) Though that was on forest colony, I know Frozen City day has always been an FPS hog with that fog and heat cloud droppin all the time. We'll see if i get that tonite.

EDIT: well I still get about a 10 FPS drop (down to 42 from 55ish)@ high spec) when my weapons clip a nearby hill/building, and when I go backward while overheating in frozen city, but otherwise very smooth.
