Fairly telling poll result at the moment, that pretty much shows how widespread and annoying the HSR issue is.

When close to half your player base have the issue, likely more than half considering some people may have the issue but want other aspects improved first, I'd be sweating it out and burning the midnight oil trying to fix it before official launch.

Just one issue doesn't do a poll justice, at least not for "ALL" the issues.. 2 choices would be nice.

If you ask yourself this one question though:

'If the issue I selected remained permanently unresolved, but everything else in the poll was addressed, would I still play MWO?'

I think it puts things in perspective.

For example, stability issues are critical. After all, you can't play a game that crashes when you boot it up.

But we can see from the response above, at least its a smaller scale problem.

However, HSR appears endemic at this point.

I had to vote for hit registration since so many other things rely on reliable hit detection.

Aside from that, though, in-game voice comms or lance and company commander hot key target designation are my next priority since they'd contribute most to real team play even on PUGs.

little of Column A and little column B. the hit registration needs to be fixed and They need to fix there match making service... I'm tired of dropping into matches where either my team is 6+ light mechs and the enemy team is 7+ assaults. or vice versa.. leaves to very boring awkward matches. Weight balance is my biggest issue there. And hit registration can be a little wonky at times. Kind of sad when you are deterred from using specific weapons [ SRM's mainly ] because of poor hit registration.

-Hit detection first, this really kills a shooter game.
-Reason to fight as a second, we need purpose for war, roll in the CW and tournaments (not these bad jokes of a tournament we now have)
-streamlining of completely messed game mechanics (ghost heat, ecm) last. Change to more intuitive mechanics.
