Oh no, see, people have been professional towards PGI about fixing problems with their game before. Guess where those threads ended up?

You've also shown a little too much influence with the AtD push so now need to be exterminated as to not pollute the system
Not surprised a plastic mod ruined the thread, and then a puppeteer comes in to back the stupidity of modding.
I mean it's ok for Garth to tell people in chat not to be a peni$..........so why would you expect any level of professionalism at all.
Kong have jumped into bed with Ngng...Ah ma Gawd!

When did this ever happen? Admittedly I haven't been keeping a close watch on the situation as I have kind of given up on MWO, but everything I saw of SaveMWO was incredibly professional. You mentioned the name itself being insulting, but I always saw it as as kitschy play off of "Save the whales!" or "Save the rain forest!" If random people started tossing out insults that can hardly be considered the fault of WoL. We certainly can't control the posting habits of the hundreds of folks who attended the Town Hall. I'd be a different thing if Anders or Gwaihir were cursing at the developers, but I highly doubt that is happening.

Judging from the last meeting maybe a new thread is also needed: "#savesavemwo"? (tehe)
At least the developers have some very useful Intel about who isn't loyal to their interests from this exercise, so it has some use. But praise to them that they allow freedom of expression on their forums to discuss concerns even if it is not representative.
Have fun in continuing to burn your bridges Goons and Goon sympathisers, very wise and diplomatic.

I take it you have not actually listened to the townhalls then?

I have listened to the 2nd town hall, and skimmed through the transcript of the first one, and read the letter...
I can understand that you guys think things should be going a different direction. I even support your lobbying for change in a constructive way.
I haven't seen the evidence that your members can stay constructive. If you can, then more kudos to you.

Focus on the actual topic. How can we, as community, help PGI make this game the best Mechwarrior Title ever?
I think it should in many cases more about procedure rather than specific details often - individual community members, me included, love to get into details, but I think we first need to establish a process to ensure that the best ideas are found and used.

And yet the vast majority of MWO players seem to be quite happy with the means of discussion currently presented to them. It's only the #savemwo minority that thinks change is needed, but why is it then that the rest of the community can work together with each other and the Devs and present their ideas accordingly?
Fundamentally the idea content is the same however it gets presented. So the only way of changing this I would see as being able to better control the content as presented to MWO. A group of players wanting to manipulate and control direction to the development of MWO, this does not sound like Goons at all.

You people are a joke, i was looking for game play balance and discussions over what should be done. If any one from PGI read through this thread as i have they would find nothing but petty back and forth discussions offering no change or solution to the game and its current state.
So this is the thread for how competitive players and the best amongst us feel the game should be changed ??????
Nop, no suggestions and nothing of merit in here.
In #saveMWOtownhall#1 i wished you guys luck in your endeavour to change the game and open some form of communication with the devs and change the pattern of how information, or the lack of it is received.
The babel of garbage all over this thread truly has doomed all those changes players hoping you top tier guys and girls would bring. You have let down all of those silent in anticipation for positive and constructive feed back and have achieved nothing.
If this thread offers the cream of the crop of the mechwarrior online competitive community, it is no wounder the game is in the state its in.
I have more faith in PGI than i do you guys, and that is saying something.
To summarise, you have said and offered nothing for any one from PGI to go on, how can they answer non existing questions or read through balance discussions when there is none. 10 pages of trash.

If you think this is bad then go read that "letter" from their first townhall they submitted. That thing was hilariously inept and didn't offer anything of value.
Replace CCP with PGI and you get how all of this #savemwo stuff comes off.
