I would say never, they are already a decent price for extra character slots compared to other online games, If you are unhappy with this then mastering one variant and selling the others is the way to go.

I just bought an x5 hero mech but im not getting the +%30 cbills ?? what am I missing ?

As part of the efforts to make the Project Phoenix package more appealing current hero mechs have had their c-bill boost removed untill further notice in preparation for future rewards.




Just kidding, its more likely you just couldnt see the boosted area due to the large size of the rewards list, at the end of the match check the cbill reward breakdown and look for a slide bar the premium/hero boost is always at the bottom in a blueish color.

hmmm yeah I was looking there , that's where my premium boost was turning up when I had it the other day but im not seeing it . do you have to win the match ? also I can change my loadout so im thinking its not a hero mech . I made double sure I was in the hero mech section when I bought it . am I screwed ?

Hrmmm thats odd, your sure its a X5 Model cicada? if it is , perhapes its just a display error and you may be getting the correct amount (The cbill screen gives two total tallies if I recall so if they dont match up then it might be a display issue) if your still sure your not getting it submit a ticket to support.

Ahh thanks for your help. you have helped me find out whats going on. I didnt realise you had to have the specific model (well actually I dint realise there were other x5 models). When I went to buy the x5 hero mech I just bought an x5 hero mech , theres my problem. greeeeeeat , now that's done ill have to find something else to whinge about . hahaha

There's only one X-5 Mech, and it's the Hero. It's a variant of the Cicada.

yay 3k mc in xp conversions later I'm now the proud owner of all the modules. or I will be once I grind out roughly the Gross Domestic Product of Tharkad in c-bills... but might as well work at it before the sale ends so I can convert more xp to ready it for the Phoenix mechs.

Might, just might get a YLW since I've been on the fence for a VERY long time with this one...

I have all the Centurions including the YLW. I actually enjoy it more than the others. Its just a fun mech.
Many say that this is the weakest of the Cents, but I say it depends on the pilot. Sure it has a gun arm and 2 laser slots in the CT. I pretty much use it loaded as it comes except, I changed to endo and upgraded the engine for more speed.
The torso twist seems faster and more responsive than the others. I dont use an XL in it, but many do.

TBH it is just fun to run the mech, I dont care about the CBill bonus (altho that is nice to have). I just like running around and brawling with it. After the arm goes boom, it becomes one of the better Zombies and is pretty tough.

Get you one while on sale, these things are just fun.
