Nice backpedal. Too bad I saw it before the change.

I felt it was unfair to the game and that some mightn't appreciate the joke.

So I went in a different direction... still pedalling forwards, however.

I don't think anybody is that loony to travel this far to make a scene. At least I hope not.

Reading the prize list in the legal mumbo jumbo makes me hope every team I play sits there in protest like one of the previous posters on this thread suggested.... looking like an awesome competition with awesome prizes and I'm really excited to have gotten an invitation to participate.

I have the Ghost Bear logo tattooed on my arm, t-shirts are for those that lack commitment. B)

No UI 2.0 at launch
No CW at lauch.

What would I be traveling 8 hours for? To watch Bryan answer questions badly?

While the best beer in the world IS free... meh
3 tanks of gas and a room... I can BUY a lot of beer for that.

Still up in the air, maybe I just won't go and won't RSVP either way, since they're familiar with vague or little information... or, like UI 2.0 and CW, say I'm coming, and not.

You could say you're going and not show up, it was your position at the time! ;)

How about a GTX 780 if you win? That's a $700 video card, not to mention some notoriety as the matches are streamed online.

Considering I have one 780 already, a 2nd would allow me to SLi, and I'm all for that.

Got SLI'd GTX 780s already - if I win, probably going to figure out a contest to give it out to one of the guys in Murphy's Law - we just gave a GTX670 and a 7870 ghz edition to the two guys with the lowest system specs. We also got together and built Joe Mallan a desktop since he's the biggest {Noble MechWarrior} of all time and was playing on a laptop without a GPU.

We felt that someone who had 13,000 posts deserved to play this game in its full glory.

Just try not to deficate on Debra's desk, she doesn't like that very much. However, by all means turn into a jet, bomb Russia, and fly into the sun.

that'd cost too much to get a new motherboard capable of triple sli and a bigger psu. If I win I'll share the wealth with some of my fellow vets who weren't as lucky to live in the area and get an invite.
