Can we get the FAQ to be updated with a schedule for when things will be streamed?

It'd make it easier for those of us not in the NA time zones to pop in and enjoy the festivities / tournament

Why is the North American launch for a Canadian company/game being held in the US?
That's kind of disappointing.

Am I just looking in the wrong places for info? I have 8 BWC members going to this event and I can't find whether or not there are teams listed yet or any further details regarding the event itself.

Looking forward to going and meeting some of the community there! Four of our 8 are in the tourney, and no, according to the staff, they won't be on the same team.

They have not revealed the teams yet, unfortunately. I hope this info will be released monday, but I have my doubts. Most likely we'll get the info towards the end of next week, if we get any at all >< I am really looking forward to meeting my team, and getting some practice games in as well as talking strats and builds.

I'm curious as to where would be the best place to post about carpooling or going with a group that live in the same area. I figure I can't be the only person from fremont thats heading there. Niles maybe, but not Fremont.

That's fine with me, cheaper to fly across the border than it is to fly to Van/Montreal.

If you're in Fremont, take BART to the Powell station. No reason to drive at all from the East Bay.

For all those going and participating in the tourney, they updated their faqs, and apparently in the spirit of fair play we are not allowed to use our own peripherals, but can only use the ones provided

Carpooling is a good idea.

I'm driving up from San Jose at about 10:30 after school and will probably eat lunch in the city then show up early because I'm neurotic about time hacks and they said you can win door prizes for showing up early.

You're a brave man driving to the financial district at noon on a Thursday. I recommend parking at Union City BART and riding in. (Fremont station is notoriously bad for parking.

How bad is traffic if coming into the mezzaline from 80 West Driving.

ALSO STAY AWAY FROM FINANCIAL DISTRICT AND MARKET STREET!

It's like 2 blocks from my office. I could even go into work in the morning and walk to Mez. If they had picked Friday we could have gone to Off the Grid.

What is that?

You answered your own question with caps. Try to avoid driving into SF at all, because this venue is in the financial district.

It's also SOMA, which is adjacent to the financial district, and just as bad for parking. But there will probably be parking avail for huge bucks at the 5th & Mission garage, next to the Metreon, but I too would recommend public transit, the powell st station (BART and Muni) is just three or four blocks away from the event.

Exactly. If you're fine paying $40 combined with gas, bridge toll, and parking, and don't mind dealing with downtown traffic, then by all means, drive to the event.
