That's quite a tight time frame ;)

To be fair, CW as they talk about it is really just a bunch of bars in a browser game that are tied to the results of the same deathmatches you've been playing all this time. Shouldn't be that hard to code and implement.

UI 2.0 in 4 weeks, 3 phases of CW complete in 6 months!

There are a lot of snarky things that can be (and likely will be) said to this.

I'm going to go with:

"That would be great".

Any new info on what CW is going to be? Are we talking adding a scoreboard? Dropships? Any new information or direction provided for that? Any info on new mechs? For those who choose not to purchase the Phoenix package any word on when they'll be released? Will they come out lump-sum all at once the standard 3 weeks after hero mech versions or one at a time?

I want to stay positive on MW:O. At this point I think people have made their concerns clear and rehashing them doesn't solve anything, PGI has made their response crystal clear in return. Is what it is. While I know a paragraph or two of information now and again is a crushing expense, resulting in multi-month delays in critical coding time it might spur some extra interest from folks.

New info on CW:

You can play as Wolf's Dragoons once you grind all factions to level 60

I enjoyed watching. Great presentation from the PGI guys. CW looks like it will be very fun and cool!

And to all you CW 90 from CB and pew whinos -

get over it, or keep living in the past. As Bryan noted, PGI too is excited to get past the first UI and all the issues it cost the game.

That's just life sometimes, either you get over it, or you get stuck in the past forever.

Living in the past would be expecting CW 90 after OB. Living in the present means we will get CW soon

Could you tell me which part of the presentation kindles this optimism?

Is it the part where CW seems to be just few dots on paper so far?

Or the part where UI2.0 seemed to be so ready that you can actually BUY mechs in it, but can't quite yet handle editing loadouts. I'm sure the camo shop will be open very soon though!

Or perhaps it was the tangible influence the clans will soon bring to the game that they talked so much about?

No wait, I know, it must be the part where we got shown a grand new map to play!

Or if you are slightly wrong in the head, the introduction of the glorious spectator client that seemed to be a hack of adding an invisible player that can fly to the map.

Hmm so hard to choose. So much to be...happy about.

Don't forget the part where we got to see a PowerPoint presentation two years in the making to say exactly what they said two years ago but with pretty pictures

nah man, Community Warfare is a chance to grind up six different meters to maximum level 60 so you can get into Wolf Dragoons Top Tier Clan Avatar mechs!

Anyone else notice the desperation creeping into the voices of the haters? "THIS GAME STILL SUCK! No really... it does. Somehow. Just trust me on this... you're not having fun! I SWEAR YOU'RE NOT HAVING FUN!"

Since I've only played maybe 6 matches in a year (feel free to check my stats for proof) no I don't have fun playing the game. There's no desperation here. My money will go elsewhere it's not like I'm desperate to play this game lol even if I did have more fun and play more often that doesn't equate to me spending money although it would be much more likely. I have still yet to have anyone show me one single piece of content that has been added to this game over two years that didn't involve a mech or map or mc item

One of the haters when confronted today after I said "and yet here you are still playing" said

"and I will until the game dies, to get my moneys worth"

So I thought to myself, with that kind of logic, I'm happy to say

"Great, 10 more years of trolls crying while we play mechwarrior"

This is the part I completely don't understand...why bother trolling the forums then? do you really have nothing better to do but comment on a forum for a game you don't enjoy? How utterly sad.

as far as a single piece of content...how's 12v12?
In case you hadn't noticed, that was a complete game changer.
I have yet to see a detractor's argument that was easier to PROVE wrong, try again.

Well, I can officially add "Ruined Mechwarrior" alongside "Jewel" and "Justin Bieber" on the "Blame Canada" list.

Guess I need to L2forum. Since I can't get the video to embed anymore.
