you would think so...but that would actually require planning ahead (because they didn't know this day was coming) and then be able to actually program it and get it to work...that's like asking the postman to deliver AND pick up your mail...you can't expect miracles

Not really.
Phil said they have about "400" people there, which is not really a not. Of these, 16x12 = 192 are players for the tournaments. So only 200 left. Excluding PGI, IGP and other staffs, and their friends and families, and we get about 100.
Only 100 people that are there for the launch, not work nor tournament.
It's a fail.
Image fail. Sound fail. Tournament organization fail.

I expect them to have this for the next tournament then. I can let this slide this time but there are plenty of things they need to work on to make the tournament and the livestream more appealing and smooth.
Like many others I, too, have high hopes for this game. Their livestream is a bit of a let-down, so is the way the tournaments are run. However, since this is likely their first tournament, I just hope they will improve on this next time. Even CW didn't come out as anticipated when the game launched.

Phil is talking too damn much, saying the same things over and over and is commentating nonstop. He really is getting annoying, unfortunately.
Plus, I got banned from the twitch chat for some reason. Making two negative comments is apparently enough.
And Edmeister's .. not really that incredible.

You are permanently banned from talking in igp.
How professional of you.

No I'm being truthful, for 3 minutes I got a great view of the inside of a cave because of the obsession with Ed, and Phil's voice really is like nails on a chalk board because he has no idea when commentary is needed and he's talking waaaaay too much.

This explains why every episode of NGNG is a sprawling multi-hour extravaganza.

I saw. No wonder why they won.
I'm starting to see a trend here. Winning teams are usually consisted of Asians. (Subject to change :X)
But I'm actually quite surprised that there is someone around the age of 40 - 50 (based on appearance) who is participating in tournaments
