I don't even know why they need to sync drop. This is kinda ridiculous. Needs better way to spectate the livestream.

There is literally no other way to get two teams to face each other.

But can't they just set-up a separate server in tournaments? Or what about a way to pre-plan a battle between two teams without queing?

you would think so...but that would actually require planning ahead (because they didn't know this day was coming) and then be able to actually program it and get it to work...that's like asking the postman to deliver AND pick up your mail...you can't expect miracles

3. Room is totally crowded

Not really.

Phil said they have about "400" people there, which is not really a not. Of these, 16x12 = 192 are players for the tournaments. So only 200 left. Excluding PGI, IGP and other staffs, and their friends and families, and we get about 100.

Only 100 people that are there for the launch, not work nor tournament.

It's a fail.

Image fail. Sound fail. Tournament organization fail.

I expect them to have this for the next tournament then. I can let this slide this time but there are plenty of things they need to work on to make the tournament and the livestream more appealing and smooth.

Like many others I, too, have high hopes for this game. Their livestream is a bit of a let-down, so is the way the tournaments are run. However, since this is likely their first tournament, I just hope they will improve on this next time. Even CW didn't come out as anticipated when the game launched.

"Someone readied up, then someone started but then it failed to launch because someone unreadied then readied..."

I'm watching the stream...

Phil is talking too damn much, saying the same things over and over and is commentating nonstop. He really is getting annoying, unfortunately.

Plus, I got banned from the twitch chat for some reason. Making two negative comments is apparently enough.
And Edmeister's .. not really that incredible.

They just banned me from their chat for typing "this is boring". No wearing, no insulting... just "boring"

  • You are permanently banned from talking in igp.

How professional of you.

Good play by Edmeiser but I wish that the commentator would spectate at the other players too. Please less talking.

Whats with his immense obsession with Ed? Also Phil's voice is like nails on a chalk board at this point.

I came here to watch good gameplay from above. Not hear Sean Lang talk nonstop and watch a light pilot damage his legs from falls.

No I'm being truthful, for 3 minutes I got a great view of the inside of a cave because of the obsession with Ed, and Phil's voice really is like nails on a chalk board because he has no idea when commentary is needed and he's talking waaaaay too much.

This explains why every episode of NGNG is a sprawling multi-hour extravaganza.

I saw. No wonder why they won. :D

I'm starting to see a trend here. Winning teams are usually consisted of Asians. (Subject to change :X)

But I'm actually quite surprised that there is someone around the age of 40 - 50 (based on appearance) who is participating in tournaments ;)

They have a really fancy animation for the match launching... but it's clearly not actually part of the game. That's another painful thing to see.
