It's well known that a new player has a tough time learning all the 'little down and dirty' must know's... it can be at best painful to learn what to do, what not to do, what not to waste time or resources on, game optimization, user config files, and overall smart game play.

We help you with the game itself, optimizing your graphics, user config's, mech build outs, and all the questions you may have.

I'll tell you up front what to expect. We're (about 7-10 of us presently) over 40 working guys. We generally show up in Teamspeak about 6:30pm EST/ GMT-5.

We occasionally cuss, but, we're all adults. You can expect the occasional F-Bomb from any one of us. If you have kids and no headset, we're probably not the group for you.

All of our guys are experienced players, own multiple mech/chassis types, and want to help new players to help build the game.

I made this offer many months ago, and met a few good people, some of whom are still playing, and are today good pilots.

If this sounds like something you want to take advantage of, it's easy to get started.

Private Message me here on the forums, and I'll give you the TS server info. Teamspeak IS required. We are old guys, and hate typing. Besides, a comms oriented group gets a lot more game for their buck than those with no comms. there is no debate, I've dropped both ways, and 110% prefer comms.

If you move on, no hard feelings. If anything, we helped you get over some learning curve hurdles, and made a fair to great player out of you. That's a ++ for the community. If we get a few who stick around, we'll be building for 12 man competitive play in as casual a style as we can get away with while still enjoying the new content.

No strings guys. In 20-30 minutes we can save you tons of time, and help get you rolling in as smart of a fashion as possible.

And you may just end up hanging around.

This is how we meet people.

Ok, guys. First, I want to say welcome to GunLock.

To Vangoh and Fresnel, send me a private message here on the site, and I'll send you guys the Teamspeak server info. Have a headset, and set to push to talk please.

Click on my name, and look for the Send a Message button.

We'll even help you out with Teamspeak. Just have the headset :)

Download Teamspeak Client, 32 or 64 bit based on your system's OS.

See you guys soon.

I joined up with this merry band of men yesterday and they increased my game 100 fold.. helped me with my chassis variants.. deal is this we are trying to build a 12 man team and get new players out the gate with a better than noobie knowledge. Ensaine is a good guy for doing this and im sticking with them. we had alot of fun yesterday and looking for more battles to come. TS is a must.. if you cannot use teamspeak or any other VOIP then this game probably isnt for you more than a casual jump into the fray. Thanks Ensaine

Almost sounds like one of those early morning ads about a super lubricant, weight loss Dr. Oz or escort service...
Ok so the latter is not so well known (maybe).

Provided my under-specced laptop can run this in-game as well as it does in the training grounds (which isn't too bad considering that when the closed beta was out, it was a slideshow), I'd be up for joining this merry band of miscreants.

I even have an old set of turtle beaches to use as a headset (stop laughing). I'm in New Jersey which A: Puts me in the Eastern Time Zone, and B: Makes the F-word a comma!

Ensaine and his merry ban of misfits are awesome. I jumped in their TS last night and had a blast. After experiencing the amount of fun and coordination that comes with being in a 4 man on TS is great. We even were getting another 4 man and getting in a game with each other. It was great. I perform ten times better when playing with these guys then just running by myself. Helped me so much.

I agree 100%! i was in the same team with Wrex and had the best matches in my short MWO career.
While our daring flanking manouvers and cave adventures didn´t not always win the game, even the defeats where glorious and we always left piles of dead enemy mechs and broken components behind.

Also, thx a lot for all the tips, Ensaine. Especially the tip about disabling the arm lock helped me a ton. I realize now that driving a mech with arm lock is like driving a car with handbrakes on - possible, just not very effective.
