I mean yeah, you are offering help and everything, but you are recruiting nonetheless.
Shouldn't that be in a different forum then?

Its not recruitment. They don't have an established clan or anything. They are just a good group of guys who are throwing help and if wanted a home for new players. You can come in, play and help learn the ropes then move on. PMing Ensaine about coming onto the TS server doesn't commit you to anything.

All PM's have been responded to with the TS server info.
Remember, people, once you PM me, check back for my reply with the TS info. Some of you have requested it, yet I have not seen a few of you in game yet.
Hope to see you all join us

R is to target an enemy mech
Z is to zoom in and out
H is for heat vision
N is for night vision
F4 is to toggle 1PV/3PV
/ is to toggle your missile bay doors open close if your mech has them
LRMs don't do damage under 180m
You can't snipe with Medium Lasers at 600m (I know it's 540m)
Arm lock is on by default and if you want to move your arms around you have to go to options and unlock them.
And anything else I might remember. I figure if I start at the bottom and help new people out, it benefits us all.

I've responded to ALL PM's as of 08/30/13 @ 5:30am EST ........
I have many of you who have asked for the TS3 info, but have yet to see some of you, which is fine, just wondering what happened to some of you guys
I would like to ask, though, that if you DO get the information, drop in at least once.
We now have several people who were averaging 30-70 damage per match, to well over 400 average. Plus we have a blast in TS.......
Just PM me, and I'll send you the server info.

We've had a nice turnout so far. Many people who have shown up are doing much better at the game then when they first arrived. Most who came, were in the 50 damage club, where now, they are in the 400+ damage club. GJ guys.
Hoping to see more of you.

The following new pilots joined us over the last month or so, and have improved at least 500% in their match performance, and are still with us: most were in the 50 damage club, and are now in the over 4-500 damage club.
Great job guys.

We've had about the same number join us, then moved on, which is fine. As mentioned in my OP, there are no strings.
We've also had several experienced pilots join us just to do drops. That's fine too
BombSquad simply wants to meet and help new people.
These guys noted above have come a long way. You can too. PM me, and I'll send you the Teamspeak server info, which as a reminder, IS required, with mic set to Push to Talk.

While our daring flanking manouvers and cave adventures didn´t not always win the game, even the defeats where glorious and we always left piles of dead enemy mechs and broken components behind.
Also, thx a lot for all the tips, Ensaine. Especially the tip about disabling the arm lock helped me a ton. I realize now that driving a mech with arm lock is like driving a car with handbrakes on - possible, just not very effective.
Good to hear Brenner. Wish our time slots enabled us to drop more.......you need to move to the states ... Nah, nevermind... things are most likely better over there .....;p
