We already beat you to it,

We had 48 guys online at the same time, recording stuff, and setting it up. I am pretty sure that's twice the activity of all the elite units with thousands of registered members.

Sooo good. Bravo!

Trust me, we are not being ignored :)

Yeah we are.

I figured out PGI's game plan. MWO is like virtual miniature's. They're targeting the demographic that basically buys anything battletech collectible wise.

They keep pumping out easy to make mechs, make them look pretty and sell them for half the price of a new game each or the price of 2 new games total. All the while the game plays like **** and you really have no use for the mechs in the first place, but they sure are pretty to look at.

Seriously, I think this is how they are looking at it while gameplay wise they try to target a casual demographic with a mediocre game.

It's funny how they are releasing extremely old iconic mechs that people loved in TT, but are total {Scrap} in gameplay/loadouts.

It's what sells and they know it, hell anyone with a brain knows they will sell to a large portion of the old Battletech/Mechwarrior market. I just see a trend happening where by PGI does something that the majority of the fan base hates, even the white knights, then makes it all better with some new mechs. They really had to pull something out though for third person, hence the Phoenix pack, but even that wasn't enough to stem the tide, queue the Saber pack.

The game is mediocre, but it doesn't matter if they can pull in a nice profit off the fanatics and whales by simply pulling mechs out of their *****. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing the mechs and all, but it does nothing to fix the core of the game or improve it in any way. Problem is that it works. Why spend more on creating a good game when you can float a huge profit off overpriced virtual goods. That's how most of the "Bad" F2P games keep it going.

I was wondering how you would feel about this poll? If we could get 1100 votes or more (the amount of votes that was in the 12v12 1st person only thread by Bryan) it would stand to reason that PGI would have to listen to it. Maybe you could bring it up at the next meeting.

They ignored a poll where 3500 people said they dontr want 3PV, but used a 2 day poll of 900 people to make a change.

Yeah thats going to work.

Its a better chance than not doing it, its not like it takes more than a couple seconds to vote, and we may be able to upvote it on AtD etc. I know they are liars and its not likely, but it can't hurt to do this.

On the topic of the 12v12 queue being 1pv only, aren't they going to phase out the 12v12 queue and allow for any size premade in the public queue? I'm seem to recall them stating that, of course anymore who knows wtf they state. Even if not, does it really matter since the 12v12 queue is even more barren than the 8v8 queue was? Just seems like they are trying very hard to give the image of appeasement without actually appeasing any of the valid concerns while still miscommunicating about their intentions

True, that's why I've been posting the second one made after first was deleted by devs http://mwomercs.com/...s-poll-revived/

They even started deleting no bias polls when their poll was up. Eventually the mods restored one of them here.

I sure hope the #saveMWO crowd doesnt let up on them even if they restrict 1PV to 12 mans only. Remember a lot of your supporters for the #saveMWO are lone wolves and small units.

It's just another sleight of hand trick to try and get some of the negativity out of their community. Especially since I'm pretty sure they plan on phasing out the 12v12 queue.
