Really. A wish list. How many people want this game made their way which is different from someone elses. As far as the franchise. While I know BT's history and all that fluff along with playing the game for almost 26 years I could care less about it when it comes down to gameplay. Everyone gripes about every other iteration of Mechwarrior and all the faults they have. Now it transends into this game well. I'm not suprised there. I remember when MW3 came out. I remember the game kicked but. I also remember that I had zero input in that game or MW1,2 and 4. But here we with the opertunity to have at least a little input.
The guy I quoted was complaining about a lack of specific gripes. I answered that by pointing out that PGI does not care about what players want. We get nerfs that make no rational sense, we get 3PV that people didn't want, we don't get the separate queue we were promised, Alpine still needs start positions fixed, Mediums are still the size of Assault.
And does PGI care about what people want? No. So why bother telling them what they're doing wrong when they won't admit they CAN be wrong? Even the "apology" for the 3PV SNAFU was insulting, late, and incomprehensible.
I'm not expecting them to make a "perfect" game, or even my ideal game. But I've seen no evidence they care what the customers want, especially when unwanted features go in because an employee's kid can't figure out how to play the game.
So yeah, I expect better results from Santa than PGI, and I don't feel the need to tell them how to fix things when they'll just break another promise, announce another expansion, sell founder packs, and continue until the inevitable legal action.
