Now do not go calling the "local" authorities as the above is not a threat. It is actually a promise... jk. Just a symbolic view of what Bryan's "inarticulate" words (or stupid words, whichever you prefer) have done. You might want to hire a P.R. firm to handle the messaging from now on since it is apparent none of your are capable of doing a good job of it.

Smoke & Mirrors Boys & Girls, smoke & mirrors.
Just wait until there is no CW because they have changed their minds on whats best for MWO and us. Get ready for more, "shut up and color" statements. Hooray! Bring on the "disinformation campaign!"

In the tier I play, red signal drone over your head means you will receive sniper shot in a second.
I wish they showed ELO on the forum profile to avoid such talks.

I generally would call myself a member of the "Silent Majorities" however, I feel I must speak up on this part of your post.
Your post implies that just because one group is vocal while the other is silent then they must not agree. While I do not always agree with the vocal crowd sometimes I do. The problem begins when you start to assume that silence simply means that we accept and agree with the direction of the game itself as this is not always the case.
This kind of mindset can be fatal to the games future.
What I propose is to incorporate polls into the home screen or mechbay screen in game. If done right it can provide a unobtrusive way to obtain valuable feedback from both the vocal and silent community. Also since each member can only vote once you will get genuine results unlike a biased forum thread that has been flooded by one side or the other.
That is all for now, but in the future I would suggest proofreading your posts to avoid sounding condescending towards your fan base. (As has been pointed out there were a few line in there.)
Thank you so much for these words of truth!

Oh in the tier you play they actually pop their heads out of cover rather than using it to look over/around terrain?
Maybe you need to step back and re-assess your position here. Because it's becoming increasingly hilarious

Ironically, with this being the first thread that Ive even read here, it seems to be true on both sides of the argument.

Yes they do but apparently they cannot afford it so they got the same people developing the game, for hours each day, to do the talking. A bad idea, since its not their specialty or job.
Apparently, they are now discovering that investing in a game targeting a niche audience doesn't pay off and think that a desperate attempt to alter the game at this last moment, like forcing 3PV, could potentially attract a larger more diverse audience; which will not happen and can potentially back fire miserably.
If they are finding that this game is not meeting their financial expectations, then perhaps they should sell it to a more competent developer.
I am personally not spending a single penny on this game, until I am certain they are steering this game to the right direction. The only reason I am here is because I am expecting CW, clans and all the cool features but If nothing is coming up after the launch then I am officially out of this game.
I dont like sounding like an *** but I am posting my honest impression about the whole situation and It feels a bit pessimistic.. Hopefully, I am proven wrong during the launch.

Well done, sir, you truly know how to handle a community.
If I still play this game, I'll be sure not to pay a cent, while still costing you the server's fees.

Also, I believe Russ said something along the lines of "Let's give 3PV a week and see what happens". So the week has passed... will we get a separate 1PV queue now?

Lol weapons are balanced. If you think sticking as many ppcs and gauss rifles on a mech is balanced, you sir are wrong.
As for 3pv I'm the hands of a competent player

I dunno about the new player retention. If they can judge it after one week, maybe it means player retention has usually been lower than a week?
Maybe The statistics are flawed by the fact that many alt accounts are being used to reply in forums and pop in to test 3pv(not wanting their main to be seen with drone)
Also would like to know how they gathered the statistics. Personally I haven't seen 3pv used hardly at all. Many of the usual people you see in matches have not been around(or maybe in alts) and the 1 week of info seems a bit of grasping at straws to me. It would seem reasonable that being 3 weeks away from launch, you would have many returning players to check it out(after all its open beta). New players coming also to see whats up, but in no way is 1 week enough time.
Again its f2p, so popping in and playing a few matches from time to time is no measure of success. Every game just before launch and up to 60 days after launch has inflated player base(nearly 3 decades of testing have shown this to be reliable expectations). The f2p market is also very adhd IMO, so keeping them, and getting them to spend cash is a tricky endeavor that 1 week of info could not possibly be enough judge success or failures.
I would like to see just how much has been spent on PP,MC and etc in the last compared to before patch. Then show how much has been refunded or under pending refund. Last thought on this, How many of the new players/accounts have spent a dime MWO?
Wish MWO the best and happy hunting all

If you're one of the people screaming ilke that, or an apologist for the behaviour, get some perspective into your life. You need it.
Thanks for the update. Much appreciated. Sorry to read the paragraph about the threats. Really deplorable that things are like this now.

Good to know that you guys know that the shouters/children in the forum are not the majority. (Somewhat sad that it is nessesary for clans to have a rule like "you are not allowed to behave like in the forums if you want to join".)
The data on C-Bills is nice, more of that ;-).
Good luck with CW!
